I haven’t full on tested this out yet but I’m very excited to do so! The tent arrived earlier than expected and I was pleasantly surprised to see that set up was pretty similar to my other tent. I got this larger one because I mostly camp with my dog and cat and realized that the 3-4 person one is just a little too jammed especially when the weather is weathering. That being said, I needed a larger tent that I could still easily put up myself because unfortunately the best thing my dog can offer is standing on the tent when I’m trying to put it up. This was super easy to set up and just took around a minute or two. I’m not sure the mat will really do much for us but it is a nice feature. Take down was also relatively easy and probably took around the same amount of time, putting it in the bag is a little tricker but not terrible. There’s a few things I like about this tent too that my other did not have, the bottom of the poles lock in and the top hinges have a protector. Take it from someone whose last tent didn’t have that—you want. I was moving across the country with my two cats (one prefers staying at home) and dog in the middle of Kansas and we got a bunch of rain and wind and my last tent started collapsing because it’s pop up joints didn’t have a locking mechanism. I had to go out and try taping the joints up which is not, as it turns out, very easy in the rain. Anyway, I’m hoping this bypasses those issues! The one thing I am a little nervous about is that the zipper sits at a corner, I do not love that… I like to be able to zip the tent up to the top, something about that just feels more secure, especially because when you have a door with corner zippers, that means you just have a hole, no matter how tiny there will be a gap between the two zippers. Now for my cat, he loves camping for the fly hunting so there is never enough bugs in the tent for him. However, because he is sometimes just an orange cat in a suit, I could see him somehow finding his way out of the tent and then being spooked when he realizes he doesn’t have his emotional support bag to hide in. I’m thinking that last part can be solved by getting a zipper locking mechanism but I would have loved if this had a continuous zipper, I’m honestly not sure why it doesn’t have that. I’ll try to report back on quality after our first camping day!

Very happy with his tent we are older and was looking for something simple so you don’t spend so much time setting up camp this literally pops up. You just pull the poles and it’s instant I watch the video thinking no way it can be that simple but it really is. The quality of the tent was great. Very happy with the company well-made product. I even looked into other items from the same brand the zipper worked great we used it for three nights never had a problem . There is two of us. I bought the eight person. I set up two extra large cots had room for a table at the other end. I didn’t use the room divider. My cots were too big. Would definitely recommend this product.

Used the new 10-person tent on a camping trip for 3 days and 3 nights. Night one brought us very high winds. We needed to maintain over night by putting stakes back in, adjusting the rain flap, and righting a pole after it buckled in backwards from a gust. But the tent survived the storm without damage. Night three gave us ten hours of rain. Aside from a little water getting in when we were getting in and out of the tent, it stayed dry the entire time. The tent has windows on all sides, lots of screen on the top, and two ground window vents at each side that help keep the temp comfortable and easy to see outside when needed. I wasn’t able to pack everything back into the bag so I have a second bag to hold the rest. Overall, it seems like this tent is going to do the job for awhile!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The 8 person tent was soooo worth it!!! It’s only me, husband and 6 year old daughter but I loved all the extra space we had for our stuff and the ability to stand. I was very intrigued by the one minute set up and didn’t know if it would really be that fast and it really is. The take down was also super easy. Definitely recommend this tent. Also, it rained super hard while we were camping and had no leaking or wetness in the tent. The only thing I wish it had (which this is a big ask) is that it had some type of awning to cover the front mat. However, I love that it came with a front mat as well to leave your shoes out.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased because of the size, price and type of set up. It's very similar to our older Coleman tent. But way less expensive. We set this tent up very fast and easy. It was structurally sound and didn't lean or sag in any way. I was very pleased. We didn't experience any bad weather so I can't speak to that. Our older tent which was practically the same would lean and almost fall over. With all the windows it's very well ventilated. I would definitely recommend this tent. I guess my only complaint would be the zipper as others stated you have to close with them at the bottom corner. I look forward to using this more.

I love this tent! I set this up in aprox 2 minutes! I'm 66 with a bad back and hips. It went up so easy! Very roomy, great airflow. The weather was beautiful so I did not use the rain fly. But I'll make a suggestion.... Before putting the legs up completely, place the rain fly on the top if the tent, then put the legs all the way up. It's easier to put the rain fly on this way if your shorter like me. Lol. Enjoy!

We bought this tent a year ago. We used it a few times last year and loved it! The ease of setup and take down is amazing! But, until this spring we had no idea just how great this tent really is. 3 weeks ago we were camping and the weather turned bad, very bad. Our phones were sending alarms warning of a severe thunderstorm headed our way and advising to take cover. This storm contained lightning, heavy rain at the rate of one inch per hour and 45-50mph wind. Having no choice, we stuck it out in the tent. Our worries were soon put to rest! This tent performed like a champ!! It withstood the wind, and rain perfectly. Not a single drop of rain came in. And it never moved with the wind. If youre looking for a great piece of equipment you can count on, thats economical and practical, this is it!
