I am absolutely thrilled with the famiware Moonlight Pasta Bowls! They arrived incredibly well-packaged, encased in four layers of boxing like a Chinese nesting doll, ensuring they were in perfect condition upon arrival. The dark blue color is stunning and matches beautifully with my kitchen decor. I have a Food Network Farmstead bowl that I love and use almost exclusively, but I'm sure this set will quickly take its place. The bowls are slightly smaller with higher edges, making them perfect for preventing spills and splashes. One thing I love about my Food Network bowl is that it doesn't get too hot to handle in the microwave. I haven't used these famiware bowls in the microwave yet, but I will update my review if they don't meet my microwave-friendly standards. We have a dishwasher that gets extremely hot and has unfortunately broken about 30% of our stoneware over time. Although I haven't washed these bowls in the dishwasher yet, they seem very well-made and solid. I'm hopeful they will hold up to the high heat and rigorous cleaning, but I will update my review if they don't hold up. Overall, these bowls are a fantastic addition to our kitchen, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for durable and attractive stoneware!

I have several kitchenware items by famiware, and I appreciate the unique characteristics of each item—irregularities in the pattern or texture show the quality of handmade pottery. These pasta bowls are quite large—about the size of a smaller dinner plate—and I think perfect for large salads, serving family style dishes, and maybe pasta if you’re feeding a football player! So they are versatile in the kitchen—you can use them for lots of different things. On these bowls, there is a two tone glaze with a nice medium blue and also a sort of smoke color that makes the hash pattern. In the base of the bowls, the smoky color did pool a bit so there is an uneven distribution there. That’s consistent with the artistry I’ve seen on other famiware items, but you may not like it, so you can see in the pictures what it looks like.

I recently ordered pasta bowls that look similar to these but the other half is heavy handed when doing the dishes so we were reduce to just 2! I really wanted something the same or very similar and saw these. I was quick to order. These arrived in quite plain packaging which was unimpressive and not good if you are gifting, but they were well protected and the contents are the most important factor. These bowls are really great for us, I love the design, it's very minimalist but with some Asian influences. They almost look hand crafted as there are some imperfections in each bowl and they are not completely uniform. I really like that about these. They are a darkish blue but with additional dark sea like colors thrown in. They are deeper than our previous bowls and thicker which is better. Definitely a good bowl for pasta or a rice dish, even maybe a thick soup or stew. I will be hand washing these to preserve them but so far I am really impressed and will likely order a second set, just in case the other half breaks them!

A quinoa bowl is a versatile and nutritious meal that you can customize with various ingredients. I sometimes try to make them with items I have leftover in the fridge. One thing I discovered is that a quinoa bowl needs to be served in a bowl and not a plate. These bowls are the perfect size for quinoa salads, bowls, stir-fry, etc. The material appears to be durable, dishwasher and microwave safe. Hey I bet it would also be great for a taco salad!

I ordered the #famiware Moonlight Pasta Bowls Set of 4, 32oz Serving Bowls for Kitchen, Soup Bowls for our new kitchen. The island is muted blue, so I thought these bowls would be a good match. I can't say enough good things about them. First, I love the muted blue color. It is a favorite of mine and makes the bowls look decadent. Second, the size. A healthy portion fits in the bowls and I like that. No skimping on food for us. Last, the quality is superior. The bowls are thick and sturdy. The glaze on the finish is perfect. The bowls can be handwashed or in the dish washer. Either way, they turn out to be shiny. I love this bowls and I highly recommend them. The bowl set would make a great gift.
