Works excellent for adding rubber grips or hard plastic guides to a shower door bottom. What we used it for. Place the strip on first. We placed it on the glass edge of bottom of shower door. Press hard. Remove the paper backing. When placing the guide onto the adhesive strip carefully tilt it to one side( front or back) and slide on tilted at first. Then slip it on over in place. Make certain it is all the way in place whatever you are sticking together. Double check. Works best. This stuff is very sticky and gooey. But has a suction like quality once in place.     • Needs some improvements...Garbage
So far the product is holding well. I used this to reinstall a drip edge/sweep on a shower door. After two weeks the tape is holding up. The manufacturer of the tape however has to change their release backing. The paper backing is incredibly hard to peel off and causes the adhesive strip to stretch. Update: After one month I need to update my review. The tape ultimately failed miserably. Even though this is marketed as highbond tape for shower applications, it seems it does not hold up well to water. The once sticky tape lost all adhesion. When the drip edge fell off the door, the tape had turned white as if it had been absorbing moisture and peeled incredibly easily off of the door. what was once a strong bond failed after a few weeks. I would not recommend this tape to anyone. ... show more

Had trouble getting this tape to hold a small door seal. Also a real challenge to apply over the length of a full shower door.

    • Good product but use it slowly
The product worked great for the limited use I needed for it. Pro: - Works really well if you peel it very slowly. Otherwise it comes apart from the plastic backing - Very clear so far (will update if it changes) - Stuck well to glass/plastic/tile Con: - Kind of high priced - Only came in a much larger roll than I needed for my project ... show more

    • Sticky stuff. Wayyyyy more than I needed, though...
I bought a frameless shower door custom cut. They did not explain that there would be inevitable splash-through from the shower head and water splashing off of the showeree (me). SO, dangit, I started trying to find clear vinyl gasketing, and started adjusting the spacing of the door hinges, to arrive at the best combination of gaskets. I am pasting this review on the THREE different types I had to use, ultimately, to ELIMINATE water getting outside of the shower. NOW, it's nice. THIS adhesive was very useful in setting the gaskets onto the glass edges in a resistant way. TOO tight of a fit, though, and they fail to hold the gasket, but that just means you need to trim the vinyl a little more. :) ... show more

    • Works, holds, easy to use if you go slowly.
Easy to use for attaching clear vinyl edge to shower doors. Very thin, but holds very well. Take your time and you should have good results. There's enough on a roll to do about 4-5 shower doors, so if you screw it up, pull it off right away, before you even put your vinyl on it, and it should come up. Once you've pressed it down firmly, it's going to probably take a razor blade to get it off so you can start over. ... show more

Bought this to reattach the plastic strip on the shower door. It appears to be the exact material that was originally installed 8 years ago. We removed the old material and cleaned both the glass edge and the plastic strip with alcohol per instructions. We liked that there was so much length on the roll as it took a second attempt to get it right. We let it sit to cure for a full day. Seems great now. Very happy with the product... ... show more
