  • A sturdy desk that isn’t too difficult to assemble.
1-Year Review Update I have officially owned this for 1 year and I stand by my initial review. This desk performs and looks just as good as it did the first day I assembled it. I moved since I wrote my first review which means I had to disassemble and reassemble it. Everything went back together smoothly. The motors remain quiet and the desk moves up and down as fast as day 1. Still a great product after a year. ———————— Original Review ———————— Famisky’s dual motor standing desk has thus far exceeded my expectations. As other reviewers have mentioned, the packaging of this desk is outstanding. There was one dent in the box during shipping, but it would take much more than that to damage the desk in its highly protective packaging. This desk comes in one box. This is possible because the desktop comes in two pieces that are connected together with dowels, and then screwed together with brackets. The box is heavy and may prove difficult for one person alone to move once it arrives. I would advise placing everything close to where the desk is going to be once it is assembled, to minimize having to slide the desk around too much. On that note, the seller should revise their images to remove the casters, as they are not included with the desk. They should also put back the line in the middle of the desktop to show that it is indeed in two pieces. As for assembly, the most of the important parts are pre-assembled, namely the legs. Since each leg has its own motor pre-installed, this is one huge headache removed during assembly. Also each type of screw and fastener was placed in mini resealable bags with the corresponding letter in the instructions. The seller has taken great care to ensure that all pieces/parts are accounted for and easy to access when they are needed. For this buyer, the table was fully assembled in under 45 minutes since I took my time and make sure I was assembling everything correctly. Regarding the desktop, the underside has pre-drilled holes to keep the particleboard from splitting while turning the screws, and simplifying the assembly. Every pre-drilled hole was in exactly the correct place. It made assembly very easy (please note the positions of the pre-drilled holes before beginning assembly, to minimize mistakes). The instructions were only pictures, but they are very easy to follow so long as the person assembling the desk takes their time. The desktop surface was made to feel like wood that hadn’t been sanded smooth, so if you wish to use it as a writing surface, you are better off purchasing a desktop sized mousepad. Once the desk is fully assembled and connected and then plugged in, the desk will need to be initialized before it can be used. This is done by simply holding the up and down arrows simultaneously until the desk has gone to the bottom and has moved back up a little bit. These steps are in the back of the manual and I suggest you keep them in a safe place, as they have possible error codes and how to correct them. The control panel has three memory settings to save various heights. One important note is that once you save two or three different height settings, you can easily traverse between them by either holding the number down until the desk reaches the saved height, or triple pressing the desired memory button, which makes the desk automatically go up or down until the saved height is reached. I have had this desk for about a week and am very pleased with it. It is very sturdy and looks good. I purchased the 48 inch desk with bamboo-looking desktop. Pros: 1. The desk was well packaged. 2. Instructions were pictures only, but they were easy to follow. 3. Pre-drilled holes were very helpful during assembly. 4. The entire unit is very sturdy once assembled, even when the desk is raised to its maximum height. 5. The dual motors are very quiet and quick they can support up to 250lbs. Cons: 1. The two-piece desktop leaves a small edge in the middle of the table once assembled. 2. The surface of the desk is made to feel like unsanded wood, thus making it a poor writing surface. 3. Being laminated particleboard, one must be very careful not to cut or Nick the desk, as this would potentially allow liquid to penetrate into the particleboard and cause it to swell. 4. It would have been very nice for this desk to come with the casters that were pictured in the image, though I understood from reading reviews of the product that these were not actually included. ... show more

  • Good, but could be better
Size: 48''Dualmotors Color: Bamboo
Nice table. Like the fact that it has two motors. My only complaint would be that the table top is too thin, looks like 3/4” of particle board. If you’re looking to place something heavy, like a multi-monitor stand (think 4 monitor setup) this may flex over time given the concentration of weight in one small area. The table is rated for over a hundred pounds, but I’m sure that’s if the weight is distributed over the entire table. Would like to see a thicker stronger plywood tabletop version, even if it were for a little more. ... show more

  • A great and affordable dual motor standing desk
It's an amazing dual motor standing desk for the price which arrived much earlier than expected. The only complaint I had was about the top which came in with scratches and scuffs, the vendor responded the next day but did not have a top replacement to send me and instead offered a small partial refund. I'm pretty happy with the desk, it is sturdy, looks good and have been reliable so far(several weeks of daily use). ... show more

  • A bit lengthy to assemble but very sturdy and works great.
Size: 48''Dualmotors Color: Bamboo
We use ours as a crafting table with my Wife's CriCut machine and her laptop. Nice to be able to adjust height between stools and chairs.

  • Fairly simple to assemble and so far no problems functionally
Size: 48''Dualmotors Color: Bamboo
After reading plenty of reviews on electric adjustable height desks, I made the decision to go with a DUAL motor one. Mostly because of the weight capacity and sharing of the load between a symmetrical lift system just seems to make sense. I won't get into the weeds about the table top being two pieces (which BTW doesn't affect the use, its a the center line of the desktop or about the laminate was cracked when screwing the hardware onto the bottom of the table top. Here are my observations to some of the complaints. The table top is the junction for EVERY component of this adjustable table. When screwing the binding plates and reinforcements, I found a couple of items. The square metal plates that secure the aforementioned two halves of the table top are sturdy and look great the problem are the predrilled holes - they don't line up with the ones on the metal plate. Now you could probably force the screws down at an angle or with enough effort make them "self tap" through the laminate/MDF. There is a problem with that approach. It could potentially cause the MDF to crack or erupt on the opposite side when forcing the screws. Take a look at the second photo where you can see the screw length vs the table top thickness. There isn't much margin for error, plus without a pilot hole that extra MDF has to go somewhere when the screw is boring a hole right? So I added some metal washers to pull back the screws front going too deep, plus I drilled (1/16") holes that actually lined up with that metal bracket. ALSO on every page of the instructions that showed installing the screws - it clearly states "DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN SCREWS". Good reason, there isn't much room for error. How many will admit to cranking down those tiny screws? The square table top brackets aren't the only ones that didn't line up. The two side brackets that line up with the left/right table legs did not either. I too used metal washers and drilled additional pilot holes. Other than those nick picks - the desk appeared to initialize correctly, took the 3 memory positions and worked smoothly during the several tests. The included wiring tray was great to have, as I didn't have to figure out how to neatly arrange the wiring. Problem was the predrilled location interfered with the monitor stand table top clamps. So I simply moved it towards the center and drilled two new pilot holes reassigning the rear tray holes to the front ones. I have dual set up using some older 24" Dell monitors that weigh about twice the newer ones do and secured with an older heavy duty Fleximount (has 1.25" tubes and a double clamp) dual monitor bracket. Combined probably in the neighborhood of 35 pounds of hardware plus the wireless access point, keyboard, mouse, speakers and stationary - around 40 pounds total. The table motors handled it with ease and only a few seconds between positions. PROS - simple to assemble and get working. Cost value with coupon. CONS - pilot holes not accurate. Wooden dowel pins are loose - recommend using some wood/carpenter's glue with the dowel pins. The wiring tray interfered with the monitor clamping bracket but your mileage may vary depending on your set up. OVERALL - recommended adjustable desk set up just be diligent about checking if the hardware lines up correctly and have a way to make some new pilot holes if necessary. ... show more

  • Good heavy duty desk, however the wood surface is not smooth for writing on
Works well, was easy to assemble. My only complaint is the wood surface. I don't think it is real bamboo and it has a bumpy texture to it. It is also pieced. There are 2 long pieces of wood that make up the desk surface, so there is a seam. It does work well, but if you have to write you will need to write on a paper pad or something smooth. ... show more
