This Falliny Makeup Brush Set, 5 in 1 Travel set is not as good as a high quality set of full-sized makeup brushes, but for travel it is fantastic! The smaller brushes are a bit awkward to use, but they work as intended and cover all of the bases I need for a full face of makeup (sponge for foundation, smaller brushes for blending and lining eyes, small brush for precision concealer application, and the kabuki brush for contour/blush/highlights). The design makes it a bit difficult but not impossible to clean the sponge and kabuki brush, but that is a minor foible. If you need to do makeup and have limited space that prevents you from bringing your typical brushes, then this set is a convenient alternative.

It's cheaply made but it's not meant to be your daily make up kit. I always give my new brush bristles a little tug to see if any come away: there were a few loose bristles in the Kabuki brush and the smaller brush but the rest stayed put. It's a step up from the sponge applicators and flat pads that come with eyeshadows and compact powders. I would put this in my purse. Maybe I am high maintenance, but if I am traveling I would probably still want my daily brushes. However, this would probably come in handy in a gym bag or your purse if you're already carrying your compacts. I also think this would also make a cute gift for a teen/tween just getting into makeup. It's got a nice little variety of things and it would help them narrow down what sort of tools they really want to invest in. I am a sucker for a clever design and this one is well done. But consider it something you'll replace sooner rather than later because all the design elements that make it compact and clever are going to be a pain to clean. The sponge is not removable so it's got a limited time use. + clever & cute design + compact enough for your purse + good variety of tools + worth it to not have to rely on an eyeshadow sponge or a compact puff pad - usable but cheap brushes - cleaning will be a pain between all the nooks, crannies and telescoping parts - limited time use especially due to sponge being glued in place; I feel like that thing will be impossible to clean thoroughly

These are not the greatest quality brushes, but this is awesome to have. To be honest, i would not use these brushes for the actual application of my make up just because i have better brushes, but this set is perfect for putting in your car or purse so you can use to touch up or fix your make up. I love the pink color it comes in too!

This is compact & includes every kind of brush that you could need. The brushes are nice & soft, and so far durable; I haven't seen a single bristle fall out as of yet. There is only one thing that I am not crazy about. The large brush pushes back in when you use it. The purpose of it doing that, is so you can get the lid back on, but it would be better if it could lock into place while you're using it, then unlock so you can get the lid back on. This does make it troublesome to use, thus why I'm not giving it a 4 or 5 star rating.

These brushes are super soft and feel high quality. I really love the travel container and how everything fits in one small travel container. I love how the end with the large brush will slide up so you can put the clear lid back on without damaging the bristles. I worry that the end with the foam sponge will not last as long as the rest of the containers. So I think you will need to be extra careful about keeping it clean to lengthen its life. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because the lid that attaches to the end with the small brushes doesn't secure very well. It pops off easily. If this is a travel container you put in a purse or bag it will definitely come undone, and possibly bend or ruin the bristles inside, or you will lose the smaller brushes.

This set of makeup applicators/brushes is just ok. They get the job done but nothing too fancy. The brushes have a very short handle. The bristles are a bit too short to be able to fan the product out (especially eyeshadow). These will do in a pinch but if you are looking for something high quality I would suggest another product. The lid comes off easy.

This is a cute way to put all of these brushes in one place. It is not the greatest quality but I think it has a nice combination of brushes. It keeps everything together and clean. The bristles on the powder brush were already loose upon opening. If you don't mind if your makeup is perfect on a short trip then this is a good solution for traveling with brushes. It takes up the amount of space as one brush would.

I'm someone who normally gets by with the brushes that come with my cosmetics - I'm not that picky/experienced. For me, this set works and would seemingly last awhile. I like that it reduces clutter and provides the brushes to cover my needs. It took me a minute to figure out that the powder brush end telescopes so you can then put the cap on without damaging the bristles - thoughtful! I think it's a good deal for $9.99 plus 5% off. Good for teens, basic needs, and on-the-go. The brush was boxed but not sealed.
