This belt is sturdy and comfy. Downside is that the heads are too large for belt loops; it's a hastle but I thread the female end through the loops by adjusting the small triggers so it can wiggle through. Or you can take the male end off the belt, thread the belt through normally, and then reinsert the male end onto the belt and readjust EACH TIME you put on/take off the belt.

This belt is not quite what I was looking for in a tactical belt. It’s not as rigid as I would have liked to seen. Other then that the belt looks good and the buckle feels nice.

First: not so good. If you've seen other reviews, you have probably read that belt requires some disassembly to thread through typical jean belt loops. Since the buckle is actually a 2-piece assembly, each end of the belt has a piece of the buckle attached. On one end it is attached permanently to the "female" side of the buckle - the end that, on a typical belt, would contain the buckle. The other end is looped through the "male" portion of the buckle; the length of the belt is adjusted by how much you loop through this piece. Unfortunately, neither end will pass through a typical jean belt loop. I have 2 pair of jeans that I can finagle either attached end through but I must have the jeans off & I have to sort of wiggle the buckle through - it won't pass through straight. On my other jeans they won't go through & the male part of the buckle has to be removed from the belt, then the belt passed through all of the belt loops, then you have to reattach the buckle piece & adjust the length of the belt. Also - make sure you slide the belt keeper onto that loose end before you attach the buckle piece (if you want to use it) or you'll have to remove & reattach the buckle piece. I've had to open the buckle, adjust the length a little, then buckle again & repeat until I got the length just right because it seems difficult to do with the belt buckled. If you are in a hurry, & the belt is not already attached to your pants, you'll reach for a typical belt you can install & adjust in less than a minute. The good: Once on & adjusted, I find it very comfortable to wear. No problems with the buckle assembly; it stays closed until I hit the release tabs to open it. The fact that you aren't limited to a typical belt buckle holes for adjustment is part of that comfort. It's also light weight but still stiff enough to do its job. I wouldn't wear it with dress pants, but for casual wear I think the buckle has a modern, streamlined industrial look. I haven't attempted OWB carry of anything yet, but have done IWB carry with complete comfort. Not good at all - but my fault: I bought too big of a belt. After I wore it a few times & decided to would keep it, I also decided to shorten it. It was easy enough to cut straight across the belt. However, my particular belt tapered to about 1" wide by tapering the top edge down for about the last 1-1/2" of length to facilitate threading the end though the buckle loops. I wanted to do the same with the now shorter belt. I made the taper cut with a new, sharp razor & even cut a radius on each corner. However, when I tried to trim some loose threads the belt webbing started to unravel. In the end, I had to cut off another 1-1/2"+ to get past all of the unraveling & just cut straight across, then use a flame to melt the edge - but now without a tapered width is it harder to loop through the buckle, which I have to do when I change pants & want to wear this belt. So, with all the above & what I feel is a low cost, I would probably go 3-1/2 stars if I could. I think the design is solid & the components appear to be of quality manufacture. I cannot find fault with the design because I bought the wrong length. But because of the extra time & effort required to "just throw on a belt", I can't offer a higher rating & I really wanted to be able to do so.

I know this is a tactical belt, and have worn my fair share of tactical trousers but I really bought this for my jeans... Buckle too big to pass through the belt loops and taking one end of the buckle off every time is a pain
