'Twas cleaned the mass air flow sensor and it would then start after failing to stay running with ignition, but still ran erratically! I had already replaced the fuel pump and filter in case they were at fault which was a good thing as they were very dirty too - but that did not help the situation. Changed old hardened air filter with Purolator. When (prob factory - bought used @ 111,000 miles) original MAF sensor replaced with this sensor and runs like a gem - going strong for a moon now. 'Might update this review after six or so. --- on 6/28/2023; after a few months and noticing now for a while hard starts/idles; the P0100 code is back and I will be contacting the company for replacement of the sensor! -got a refund. ... show more

I recently put it on my 2000 Nissan Maxima. It made a big difference. Now the acceleration is very smooth and the fuel economy is better. It is worth it. So far very happy with it. If you have a very old car and lacking power. This is one thing I will recommend.
