  • Amazing!!!
I'm not sure what happen with everyone else's products. But mine came faster than what it was suppose to be for one came four days earlier. Second. Took a little bit of time to install all the pieces together. But worth every penny. Couldn't be happier with my install. I only have one con. Which isn't a big deal on less your neat freak like me. The lettering for the shock where it says fabtech it's a sticker and I wasn't able to put it on. But besides that everything is smooth sailing. And the best part is the driving of them. Well worth the money ... show more

  • Major improvement over stock TRD
I replaced my aging stock TRD Bilstein Struts with these coilovers. I wanted to get the upgraded and more stoute Dirt Logic shocks from Fabtech but couldn't justify the price for what I'm using them for. I'll say that I was right. These shocks are amazing and for 99.9% of anything I will put them through they are more than enough shock (i.e. I'm not jumping the truck). The adjustable coilover set up allows me to get rid of the ride height leveling kit spacer I had on the truck before. The lift 1-3" if more than enough for larger tires without having to change your gearing. When I removed the stock strut and put them side by side I noticed a couple differences that made these coilovers a better upgrade. 1. the shaft of the fabtech is much larger and more stout. I figure that equates to strength and feel. 2. the spring is much larger and has a progressive coil pattern you can really see. Again, better feel. 3. Adjustable ride height. This is really nice and as easy as turning the collar with the supplied spanner. 4. Replacing the shock is easy and cheap. You just remove the collar and spring and put a new shock into it for under $100. 5. They look better than the ugly yellow shock. Subjective feedback I know but it is important. If you can see the shock in truck then it should look good. The price seems to be all about the spring and machined adjustable perch because the replacement shock is under $100. This to me is a good thing. The dirt logic shocks are cool because they're entirely rebuildable but unless you're really into tuning your truck all the time it's not worth the hassle and down time. I'm leaving it at 4 stars for now because I have yet to put major time and miles on the shocks. But so far they've transformed the handling in a major way. ... show more

  • Great to offset a new winch bumper
4.5 stars. I bought a beefy steel winch bumper for my 1998 Tacoma. The extra 120 lbs. caused me to lose about 3/4" in the front, creating a pronounced front rake. My front suspension had seen better days anyway, so I ordered these to fix the problem. I took it to Pep Boys to install, because I didn't feel like a broken arm. Afterwards, I was able to use the included wrench to level out the front of the truck just right. I was really only trying to restore the factory height, but maybe I cranked it up an extra 1/2" or so. It takes a long while to adjust them while on the truck. You have to jack it up to get as much weight off as possible first. Then you can adjust it, drop it back down, and see where you're at. Repeat on both sides until level. Curiously, on my truck, one side needed more that the other. The ride improved a lot over worn out factory coils, for sure. I docked a little because the kit includes 2 rubber washers that go between the coil and the adjustable collar, and those were a hindrance to adjustment. I suggest omitting them if you are going to do any adjusting after install. I do like them a lot overall. ... show more
