- [ WASHING & DRYING INSTRUCTIONS ] Our stretchy fabric can only be hand washed. You can use lukewarm water (max 30C) for both washing and rinsing. For drying, after you carefully wash it, just let it drip-dry

I absolutely love this fabric. I have purchased some of the 10 oz cotton spandex from Fabric LA before and also loved it. It arrives cut and packaged well. I purchased the 12 oz in purple for the 100th Day of School free dress holiday. This was perfect for our project! The weight was great, thickness was there, definitely not see-through (very opaque). And it took vinyl like a champ. My ONLY gripe was the purple was more of a dark eggplant and not as vibrant a purple as the swatch shows (and this was viewed from multiple devices prior to ordering). I'll attach some images later to this review to show what we got and how it looked for us. But this aside, the quality of the fabric was fantastic! It will be great for future leggings and modesty shorts as well.

A little thicker than a tee shirt, nice stretch. Remember the edges will roll when cut, so cut wisely since serging will make the fabric a little wavy. They sent me charcoal color, which isn't the black I ordered, but maybe I assumed charcoal was going to be darker? Easy enough to return and re-buy.

I needed 220 GSM's, which I got, but when I removed it from the package, the hand feel was slightly rough and when only just slightly stretched, it was completely see through. Which makes it not good enough for the majority of my sewing needs.
