Very messy and hard to remove the sand paint from the tables and floors. Designs are nice but they are too small. Hard for younger kids to trace successfully. I think it would be a nice project for middle grade students.

It wasn't what I expected, but it's great for a cheap children's activity. The paper cups are very thin, so younger children would need a lot of help. I bought this for my 8 yr old who sees me paint and asked for a set. Really my only complaint are the pieces of cardboard it comes with for the kids to paint on. They don't stay flat. They will start to bend once wet with paint. With that said it's good enough just buy some other canvas boards.

I got this project out for my 8yo and her friend. The two bigger canvases were a fun size for the project, I wish it came with 4 of those instead of 4 tiny canvases. The small ones are okay to get a feel for the process, but both kids wanted to do bigger artwork.

My granddaughter and I created “ works of art”. She absolutely loved it! She is nine and plans on gifting her creations for Christmas. I just wish there were more than one large piece , two would be better. Especially if more than one child is participating. The directions were very good.
