The design is very open-air with a totally open bottom shelf, 4-shelves below the top, and a hidden compartment that disappears in the overall design. The table is easy to open and balanced so well that the table can be opened to expose the hidden compartment even with heavy objects, including potted plants setting on top. Easy to put together, is sturdy for the most part. I wi say if you lift the top up and lean on it with medium pressure the whole table will start to lean. Overall looks great!

Looks great. Has remained sturdy & scuff free since purchased 6 months ago. Instructions for assembly aren’t there best but end result makes up for it. Planning on adding a lazy susan to the bottom shelf to make items more accessible.

Easy to put together- only hard thing is not bending the legs when putting together on the 2nd step before screwing thwm together if you are hardwood flooring. Looks great, took me one hour by myself but will definitely ve easier/quicker with 2 people assembling.
