I’m not always one for putting my own furniture together, but it I must I really need the directions to be simple. This table was so easy to put together and it’s very sturdy which is great! Solid table. Does not have mechanism to slowly lower the table top and may be difficult for some to open and close the top. The top is great. I use it daily and there’s no scratching. The size of the table is large, you can seat 4 around it comfortably. Does not take a lot of space and is easy to assemble. Great price for for the table, given the sturdiness.

I love the look and size of this table. Color matches pictures. Legs seem sturdy, but top does not. I like that it lifts, but they need to make the mechanisms that lift it stronger or something because it feels flimsy and closes very hard. I have to hold it the whole time and slow it down so it doesn’t slam shut. But it was a good price for the table and holds a decent amount of things on its multiple ledges and shelves. It more than serves its purpose and very scratch resistant because my cats haven’t left a mark on it yet. Takes a little time to assemble and you need 2 more hands for one part, but if you follow instructions it’s not hard. Overall I like the table and would get it again, IF it lasts a decent amount of time, cuz the price is good.

I get SO many compliments on my coffee table. Anyone who comes into my home notices it immediately, and is so surprised when I tell them it lifts up. It was easy to put together. It’s super sturdy. I am a 5 per household and there’s not a scratch on it. The storage compartment fits a decent amount of stuff and I will be keeping this table forever.

I'm 71 and live alone with my little dog. I like to eat dinner in front of the TV screen while watching a movie. I've always used a TV tray but liked the concept of these 'lift top' coffee tables. Except they were generally too big, too long, and too heavy. This smaller round one is perfect for my space. I researched a lot of different smaller lift top coffee tables before deciding on this one. Nearly all of them had some sort of negative issue. For this one in particular, customers complained about installing the top all by themself, and how difficult it was. Let me make a suggestion. There are 7 actual steps to follow (all pictures, but they make it very clear) for assembling this coffee table. I did Step 1 and 2 first, then skipped over to Steps 6 and 7. This made attaching the hydraulic lifters to the top VERY easy, because I could flip the whole thing upside down on the carpeting, and easily attach the lifters to the top with nothing else in the way. Using my leg to support the top, I was able to finish screwing in the second lifter. Then I went to Steps 3, 4, and 5 to finish the legs and bottom shelf. The instructions are very clear, but they list the steps backwards IMO. Took me about 45 min from opening the box to completed setup. No power tools, just the Allen wrench only. If I can do this all by myself, anyone can. I love this table, it is in perfect condition, fairly water resistant and goes well with the rest of my furniture. Highly recommend!!

Wife and I like this is table for the space. Almost got this exact one without the extra storage/lifting top before seeing it and happy we did this one instead. Instructions were clear but should probably be rewritten to attach table top before the end, as it's written. I would use 2 people but 1 is possible with planning/doing steps differently. Overall, great product! It only got 3 stars because one of our pheumatic arms was faulty so I've ordered replacements (luckily, bought this on sale) and another start taken because my only option was returning this whole table for that one piece needed. Nobody wants to take it apart or repack this after received. Seemingly, no way to reach true seller as Amazon is selected for customer service for this product. Because of the purchasing, install & total customer experience - 3 stars is what I can offer but if it shipped with a good arm - it would definitely be 5 stars and I do still recommend this item as this issue is probably just my luck.
