As you probably know the biggest downfall with the Sony mirrors a seven us to a video camera is that when you’re shooting in 4K the battery lasts approximately 3 to 5 minutes. I have about eight batteries that I go through just to get about 20 minutes of footage. I should’ve bought this sooner. It works like a charm. But a lot of people don’t know if there’s a little flap on the bottom of the door flap for the battery holder on the camera to let a wire go through for this exact reason.     • For a AC adapter, it doesn't hold power longer than 3 hours.
I bought this for the Sony A6400 to be used as my camera for livestreams, video, and conference calls. After about 3 hours of being on the camera will power off. As soon as I turn the switch on the camera off and then back on, it will start back up. Previous adapters, not from this company, with other cameras have worked perfectly with no issues of them shutting off. Before anyone says it, I did check the power settings on the camera and it isn't set to power off. If you only need 3 hours or less, then it's worth the price. If you need more than that, shop elsewhere. I have tested this over about two months and all the results are the same. There is a flaw in the battery holding a charge. ... show more
