    • So worth it!!
This kit is amazing!! I did stop using the guide tho and forcing the air out, now I just fill them up by hand and that works fine!! The drill doesn't work, so I used my Dremel that I have at home. You can also use a thin piece of metal to heat up and push through as well. When it comes to the color cartridge I recommend once you finish drilling the holes taking a paperclip and unwinding it, then proceed to dunk into each individual hole (wiping it with a tissue after each one) so you know which holes is what dye color, then I used a marker to make a triangle with dots that then was taped to the cartridge so I didn't have to check each time and had a simple label to go off of, you could also put a dot of paint instead. These are so easy to refill just by hand then being able to jusy pop them right on it. I would say the black cartridge can take 8 mls after being fully empty and that cartridge can last anywhere between 200-300 pages. As for the color cartridge, when completely empty I did 2 mls each, and that works great, but if I don't know how much is in it I'll do either half of 1 ml or a full 1. Just be sure when you're filling these up to take your time. You don't have to go too slow but when you get towards the end I do tend to tilt the cartridge a little bit and watch carefully for it it were to bubble out. Also don't tear off the tin foil top of the bottles, just poke a hole with one of the syringes, it gets easier when you start to run low on the bottle to just tilt it and draw some out. I definitely will continue to buy from here! It can be messy if you let it be, I tend to just do it over one tiny piece of tissue though or a piece of paper. Once you get into the pattern it's quite easy. When I'm done with the syringe though, I fill it with air and push it into a tissue a few times to get the small left over dye out of it to help with storage. When done make sure to keep all the needles pointing up when not in use, if there is any left inside and you have them pointing down they may drain and leak out even with the cap on if you have even a few drop left inside. I'm practically done with my bottle of black in two weeks! And I've EASILY printed 3500+ pages! Id say one bottle of black for can do 5000 standard letter documents easily! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. A little trial & error, but I was able to successfully refill my PG-260XL black ink cartridge. I ended up using two full syringes for an empty cartridge. Seems like I have enough ink to refill several times. TIP: – Grab a pair of your size disposable gloves. Put them on before you start and don't take off until all pieces are put away. - Ink squirts when putting cap on needle. - Make sure you refill on a surface that won't absorb ink because micro splatters get everywhere. (I used a vinyl desk cover.) - Lots of blotching on my test pages, so I used "Deep Clean" option on printer, which helped immediately. CONS: - Very minimal instructions (used video on listing as guide) - My ink cartridge is NOT listed as compatible on the sheet included in package but it's listed multiple times on Amazon - Messy (but likely cleaner next time) - Printer still indicates low ink - Gloves are cheap & oversized for someone that typically wears large disposable gloves ... show more

    • A Waste of Time and Money
There are no instructions included. The "use manual" on the product page is inadequate and incomplete. It doesn't even mention drilling holes in the cartridge. The various Youtube demonstrations I found differ and aren't product specific, so basically you're on your own. The drill included was so dull it wouldn't scratch the plastic - I had to use one of my own. The provide drill size is too small. It did not allow sufficient venting space for the air to escape as the ink flowed into the cartridge. As a result, the cartridges bubbled over and would not take the specified capacity of ink. Out of six black cartridges I attempted to fill, I ended up with four that might have had enough ink too use. The syringes are too short to get all the ink out of the bottles, even when tipping the bottle. There is no guidance for which color ink goes in which part of the color cartridge. I could not get any color ink from any of the three holes in any of three cartridges using a test probe to the bottom of the cartridge. So at this point, I was unable to fill a color cartridge and also feared issues with the printer recognizing the ink status of any refilled cartridges. I gave up and threw everything in the trash. Next time I will look into either remanufactured cartridges, or the "Empty Refill kit For Canon PG-210XL CL-211XL Ink Cartridge", or an Epson printer with ink tanks. ... show more

    • Great way to save tons of $$ on printer ink.
Very fast delivery, and received exactly what is advertised. Wish I would have thought of this much sooner in life. Could have saved thousands over the years in printer ink refills. Clear and easy directions to follow and was up and printing within minutes. Only downside I have come across is the printer still reads it as an empty cartridge. Searching for ways to overcome this little issue. All in all I am completely satisfied with the ink package, how easy it is, the print quality is amazing as well, and the best part is for less than the cost of a single cartridge of black ink, I have black ink and the colored inks. 100ml bottles each so plenty of refills for one low price. ... show more
