    • Never Buy Ink Cartridges again!
Didn't realize when buying these that they'd work in both Canon & Brother printers! Originally bought these for my Brother printer, don't remember the model # off top my head but the ink cartridges are #C101 i believe? Its a letter followed by "101" that part I'm sure of, cant recall the letter though sorry. Also works on cartridges x201, which is the extended version that holds more ink. Anyway, found a YouTube vid that explains the process, super easy, but can be messy. This kit includes everything you need, except for something you need to poke a hole. I.just heated up a thumbtack with a lighter, it actually melts a hole, much easier than anything else like drilling. Fill the ink using the supplied syringes and cover up the hole with one of the labels on the cartridge. Use a hair dryer to heat them up first, it makes removing them a cinch. My.brother ran out of ink, but he has a Canon printer, after a bit of Googling, I found that it uses the same type of ink, so same thing with his cartridges, poke hole, cover it up and reinsert into printer. Google your printer or cartridges, look for YouTube vids that show the process, each printer/cartridges differ (hole locstion). The more you fill it up, the longer it prints.. Print quality versus buying new cartridges is indistinguishable. Theres a reason why Staples "recycles" old cartridges.. They refill them and turn around and resell them as generic Staples brand cartridges... Hope none of you buy another print cartridge again, don't let them rip you off! BTW, if your chip in your cartridge no longer allows you to refill, search Amazon for replacement chips. They're just a few bucks like $6-7, you usually get 2+ of them. Last time I bought 6 total, just in case they stop selling them or something I'll have a stockpile to use. That's prolly enough for a lifetime, we'll see! ... show more

Easy to do, would recommend they provided a drill bit rather than a hand drill because it's a LOT of work to do by hand. I used a similar sized bit with a drill instead for the hole. Prints good enough for what I need (documents), but it'd be nice if the black were darker. Your prints will not be as good quality as before but it's CHEAP! ... show more

Pictures on photo paper not the best it seems like the color is not as it was in life. and not the same tone. Or something. Now just thee paper paper yeah it works as well as you might think. not picture perfect but well Cuts the cost of printing down a bunch. But when I print pictures I use the new Cannon brand. not even a refill will do. I give 4 stars but3.7 would be more like it. ... show more

Excellent Ink, Quantity and the tools provided to refill. Both photos and document printed well with no issues. I never usually write reviews but this one made me to write as I knew the difficulty in finding the 3rd party refill station (note: costco refill station is no more) or buy a branded one which is way too pricey. Pro Tip: When drilling the Cartridge - use the provided tool as drill head instead of doing it manually which might takes a lot of time. ... show more

I needed to replace both of my cartridges after a huge print job I did and haven't completed yet. I decided to try and refill the cartridges rather than buy new ones as they are extremely expensive. The little supplied drill would not drill the holes so I grabbed a Ryobi drill and a small drill bit and I was able to get the holes done in a few seconds. I took my time and didn't rush it and it worked out great and sure saved my fingers from that little drill. I refilled the ink according to a YouTube video I found and both the color and black are printing as they should after I reset my printer and ran the cartridges through a cleaning cycle. If/when I run out of ink I will definitely order this kit again. ... show more

Disappointed that the colors I refilled don't work. Printed copy comes out gray. Depending on your make & model of your printer, I learned you may have to "reset printer counter" in order for all colors to work.
