This is the second of the EZ PZ products I've bought, so I'm definitely a fan. Suction power is about as good as you're going to get with this type of product. Cost is a bit high for what it is, but it's in the typical price range for these items, and part of the cost is hopefully someone doing careful research that it won't do any harm for a baby's health. If you're among the many who use the really popular Ikea brand high chair, just be warned that it's a little too large for the tray as shown in the picture. This give your baby more opportunity to pull it up and flip it. Still worth it to use for feeding time. ... show more

These work so much better than any other suction plates/bowls that we have, including similar ones by Nuby. They absolutely do not slide, which is great for toddlers learning how to use utensils. Yes, our 18 month old can lift it off of the table if he really wants to, but I don't think there's any plate out there that couldn't be thrown by a determined child. They are made from thick silicone so they are a little heavier and stick really well to our countertop and wood table. I also suspect that the rectangular placemat shape sticks better than oval placemats, probably because they have more surface area. I bought a Mini Bowl and a Happy Bowl and am really happy with them, and glad that we have the two different sizes. They clean up easily so I don't feel like I need to buy a bunch of them. This bowl is great! My son is 7 months and we are just starting to eat finger foods. This bowl helps him to have a edge to push food against when he's trying to pick it up with his little fingers. The bowl is easy to clean, just a rinse and quick wipe down is all it needs. It's gone into the dishwasher with no issues, also. The silicone is thick and sturdy, seems to be of a great quality so far. We use a Fast Chair as our primary high chair to help minimize baby items that we're tripping over in the house but has been disappointing because the Fast Chair always leaves about 0.5 inch gap between baby's belly and the table, a perfect spot for food to fall to the floor. Half the time food would land on the floor before baby could even pick it up. I purchased the Happy Bowl hoping the mat would be sturdy enough to cover the gap and it is working great for this purpose! It's thick enough to stay flat even where unsupported over the gap. Plus, our son really enjoys looking in the bowl to see if there's any food that's magically appeared in his little bowl. :) The only downfall of this use is that baby can get his fingers in this gap and under the mat so he can pick the whole thing up, but this is easier to stop than the ever constant falling food through the gap. Just to clarify, this issue only happens because we don't put the bowl completely on the table -- when the bowl is flat against a table (not over the gap caused by our Fast Chair) it tightly suctions to the table so in normal use it would be tough for little fingers to pick up the whole thing. ... show more

I have a senior CH (cerebellar hypoplasia) kitty. She’s always had trouble with regular bowls knocking food everywhere when she wobbles. This bowl is very soft/bendable (including the actual bowl portion), perfect size for kitties and keeps the food in the bowl if any spills it doesn’t get everywhere. I’ve found it suctions better to flat surfaces (countertop, wood floor, etc) but it does still stay put on carpet and other areas just not as well. I use one of the rubber food bowl mats when I put it on the carpet and it sticks to that. ... show more

    • Beat my expectations
I first saw this product on Shark Tank. I thought it was a good idea but did it really work. Kids who want to fling their food will find a way. I bought two of these, one for my 3.5 yr old and one for my 18 month old. I really didn't expect it to work but I thought it was worth a try. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they actually do stay put. My 18 month old kept trying to lift the bowl in order to throw it across the room and she was pretty frustrated because the bowl would not budge. My 3.5 yr old figured out how to remove the mat from the table after a couple of uses but once I asked him to leave it in place so we can keep the table clean he moved on to other forms of chaos. They clean up pretty easy to. I do find though that it's better to run them in the dishwasher than handwash. Also, if you use them for pasta or anything tomato based you MUST wash them right away or they will stain. My 18 month old eats at the table with the Inglesina chair that hangs from the table and the bowl is right size to fit inbetween the bars. The bowls don't really seem to work well with high chairs beacuse they are a bit larger than most of the trays (we have an evenflo high chair as well). They are not fool proof but they work great until your kids figure out how to remove them. ... show more
