As far as I can see performance not negatively impacted with the use of this riser cable. The shameful part is the horrendous plastic film that surrounds the majority of the cables that are not removable, and are extremely stiff. The display pictures used don't actually make this as noticeable, so I decided to upload some of my own so that you all can see. At this price, performance, and appearance I would have paid an extra $5 with its competitor brand just so that I don't have to look at that horrendous film and deal with the lack of flexibility in my ITX build. ... show more

It kept giving me error on my GC after a while. I don't think it was my GC as I tasted with another cable and it was fine. The cable itself is a great quality, I might just have gotten a dud or might have been damaged during transport.

If you are having trouble with riser cards this might help. Your motherboard needs full length slots or slots with open backs. This particular model will not help with 1x mining motherboard slots. I have seen but not tested 1x versions of this product. If your motherboard has additional power plugs for the PCIe slots then you can try the 1x version. I have 2 1080tis and I could not get both to fit in my computer. I decided to buy one of these to reposition one of my cards in a fashion that allowed me to fit everything into one case. It took me a little bit but the results are great. Definitely recommend one of these. As for benchmarks. I honestly do not know if you get a performance lose.
