These are either made only for the top rail or commercial fencing might be different. I used them on a standard chain link fence in the backyard. They were to big for the line posts. I couldnt get them snug like I needed. If they were the right size these would be a super time saver. Worked for the thicker top rail though. ... show more

go with 11 ga first 9 ga to strong for a 81 yr old man I also need a heavier drill than a 1\2 inch

    • Don’t buy this product if you plan to use cordless drill chuck to twist wire
Doesn’t work as advertised. 9 gauge wire is too tough for cordless drills. A cordless drill doesn’t have the power to twist this heavy gauge wire.
