This looks like it's well made. I haven't tested the automatic function yet. There are no instructions on how to adjust the fit or close the buckle. I weight 260 and the fit when fully adjusted out is snug with summer clothes. It may be too tight with a jacket on for fall fishing. Product is ok but not the std I expected. Seller accepted the return request with no fuss. But beware that return shipping cost are on you and it might be anywhere between 10 and 40$. Coast Guard stopped me for an inspection and told me I needed an approved PFD for all on board. At the time they did not consider these PFD's as approved. So I keep an extra USCG approved standard PFD on the boat. Follow the instructions about keeping it dry as rain or wave spray can cause the auto inflate to trigger. Love the slim secure fit. Allows full movement, secure without the bulk. On a hot day does not feel like a jacket as some PFD's do. ... show more

Unlike higher quality self-inflating life vests that I've utilized before-- the EYSON unit has an "old school style" buckle through buckle at the front that's initially difficult to adjust.
