I did have some problems with this brush spinning when I didn't want it to, so while it assembled easily enough, it didn't seem to lock in place quite as stiffly as I would like. I tested by vacuuming my carpet and then running the broom over it. I didn't pull up much fur that way, but it did do a nice job of helping me defur the cat tree in some spots where the hand unit from the vacuum hadn't been very successful. All in all it seems like a good tool to add to your de-furring arsenal, but depending on how well your vacuum works, you may not pull up much from a freshly vacuumed carpet. ... show more

    • one hard pull and it snaps like the cheap plastic it is
not a quality product at all. took a sweep over the carpet and the head snapped off inside. go back to using actual steel and solid wood and maybe it will be worth buying.

It’s sturdy and i use it to clean the dog hair and salt and dirt in entry ways, hallways at apartment complexes and if you are doing 8 sets of stairs 4x A day - this is the winner it made my life better! I have 2 types of squeegees, this one with the bristles and another that is more of a traditional squeegee. I gave this one a try and it works well but I use my other one more, it's faster and easier. This one is decent but it does not pick everything up, like my other one.
