I bought two of these Eyeskey cases. First I bought the smaller (42 mm) Eyekey case for my Nikon Monarch 30 mm binocular. I liked the bag so much I bought the larger 50 mm case for my Vortex Viper 42 mm binocular. My 42mm Viper do fit in the 42 mm case, but I carry them in the 50 mm case, because the looser fit means it's it easier to get the bino in/out and to store the bino strap inside the case. (Similarly when using my 30 mm Monarch bino in the 42 mm case.) I'd often take my binocular out of the 50 mm case to use it as a "man bag" to carry phone, eyeglasses, and so on. It works just great for that, and the black color is masculine looking and unobtrusive. So I'm now ordering a third bag, to use solely as a man bag. ... show more

It's a nice case. But although this is listed as a 50mm case, it just holds a pair of Nikon 42mm binoculars. I wish the strap were a bit wider or at least had extra width where your shoulders are; the belt loop is too narrow for my backpack belt.

    • Excellent Solution For My Nikon Binoculars!!!
I love the fit and feel of this case! My Nikons came with a neoprene case. It was alright, but has a Velcro closure. Not a fan of Velcro! This one has a sturdy clasp closure. It’s roomy enough, but not bulky at all! Excellent value! I can highly recommend it.

Got it today and it’s same as the one came with my $250 binoculars. Very good quality, fit my other binoculars well. It also has good padding and will protect my binoculars in the field.

This case works with a variety of binoculars. Measure your binocular at the maximum dimensions then compare to those in the description. I did it like that and bought the case for a night vision device. Fits like a glove. I had a new pair of binoculars that came with a hard case. Not good for field work. The Eyeskey Universal 50mm Roof Prism Binoculars Case was big enough for both the binoculars and field neck strap. Opening and closing the case is easy and locks close.
