I got the pallete for hazel eyes and the one for green eyes. I bought this as something i can throw in my purse as a just in case shadow and was expecting drug store makup quality but I was pleasantly surprised. It actually could go toe to toe with some of the more expensive brands I usually buy at like ulta or sephora. The shadow is pretty pigmented but it's kind of hard to see the lighter colors in the picture because of my skin tone. I swatch with my finger and noticed the texture is super soft. The majority of the shadows are very sparkly and light reflective. There is only one true matte color... the liner. My only complaint is that I wish the largest base color was matte too. I definitely prefer the colors in the one meant for green eyes. ... show more

I picked up this Almay Eyeshadow Palette for Green Eyes because I wanted something simple, everyday, and gentle on my sensitive eyes, and honestly, it delivered more than I expected. The first thing I noticed is how easy it is to use. The shades are laid out in a way that basically tells you where to apply each one, which takes all the guesswork out (perfect for busy mornings or if you’re not super into complicated eye looks). The colors themselves are soft and flattering, they really do make green eyes pop without looking too bold or overdone. The formula feels smooth and lightweight, and it blends nicely without a lot of effort. It’s not the most intensely pigmented palette I’ve ever used, but I actually like that for everyday wear because it gives a more natural, polished look rather than anything heavy or dramatic. I found it held up pretty well throughout the day with minimal creasing, which is a big plus for me, and it’s quickly gentle on my eyes with no irritation. If I had to point out a downside, I’d say the staying power isn’t quite as strong as high-end palettes, and you might need a touch-up if you’re going out at night. I have used Almay before because it is hypoallergenic. The colors in this one are very nice. I usually keep a purple set and a brown set on hand. This is fragrance free. It is suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. I would the lighter purple on the eyelid and the darker purple in the crease. It shows how to use all 5 colors on the box. ... show more
