I first tried this in a beauty box and loved it. I decided to splurge and order one and was super disappointed that it doesn’t go on the same at all. This one is like a stinky waterproof mess that makes all your eyelashes clump together. If you are a one swipe of the lashes and you are done person then maybe this is for you. I usually do 2 or 3 coats and I can’t build with this mascara. I have long lashes and this just makes them long and stuck together. It’s a weird sticky mess. ... show more

I have very light, short eyelashes so I’m always hoping for something to make them look thick and long. This mascara applies super light at first, despite its name. Barely shows up really, even after I’ve curled the lashes. So I have to keep loading it on, and then it gets incredibly tacky and clumpy. Would NOT recommend! ... show more

    • Clumpy Flaky Hot Mess
The pigment seemed good and was looking for something new with volume and lengthing. I opened the packaging and went to apply the wand has a ridge of dried mascara inside the threading( kind of like it was dried up or had seen its day in someone elses make up bag before I got it)...I really wanted to like this product, so I went so far as to use a fresh wand and applied 2 coats. I felt it flaking within 2 hours( not for contact wearers), I had black backlash smear to just make a smoky eye look like I was working on a Halloween look. I do not recommend this product because I felt like a hot mess after two hours, and the want fibers are sharp like a boar bristle brush. ... show more

This is one of the few products I can use that doesn't irritate my eyes. However, after years of using this product, I feel this latest is not the same formula. Usually I can apply a single coat and be done. I now have to go over my eyelashes multiple times.

I was a hesitant to buy because of the price (I am a drugstore makeup fan) but I took the chance and I really love this mascara. I am fortunate to have long, thick lashes but they are heavy and most mascara does nothing to lift them. This stuff lifts and lasts ALL day! My lashes look as good as when I got a chemical lash lift so I am very happy. I also have fairly sensitive eyes and have had no irritation. Definitely recommend. ... show more

    • You get what you pay for...
I have been using Eyeko mascara exclusively since I received a sample a couple of years ago in a monthly subscription box. I like the curved brush and the quality of the mascara (no clumps), plus it’s the first mascara I’ve used that doesn’t make my eyelids/lashes itch.

    • Huge disappointment
I don’t understand the rave reviews. This mascara does not give the dramatic length/volume/curl that it claims to. (Regarding the curl, the first coat straightened out my lashes after I had just worked on them with an eyelash curler.) I have worn “natural” looking mascara before, but that was not how this item was advertised, and frankly at this premium price point I expected more. I get way better results with cheaper mascara. Never buying again. I would consider throwing out the tube if it weren’t so expensive. On the plus side, the tube design is clever and the product washes off easily. ... show more

    • My new favorite mascara
Extends lashes, beautifully black, and doesn’t flake off. Stays put all day until I take it off. Many mascaras smudge under and around my eyes, but not this one. Lashes look thick and long, yet still natural. The perfect mascara.
