Use the carabiners to complete the attachment of the hammock to the supports.

The Body Sling is made of ultra- lightweight and durable, 70D High Tenacity Parachute Nylon which dries quickly and will not mold or mildew. The single person Body Sling weighs only 16 ounces while the two-person model comes in at only 26 ounces. This lightweight makes it possible to take your Body Sling anywhere you might be going in the outdoors whether you’re in a car, riding a bicycle or motorcycle or hiking with a backpack. The new Extremus Body Sling Hammocks also include a convenient storage bag to keep you organized and your Body Sling in perfect condition. I got the two-person version to set up at my summer cottage. Overall I liked it quite a bit, but it's better for certain circumstances than others. Pros: • Super lightweight. Would be great for backpacking, hiking, or camping • Seems to be made of high quality and trustworthy materials of sufficient strength • Wraps around you and seems to block the wind somewhat (if that's what you're going for). Would be ideal when combined with a sleeping bag • Exceptionally good price and value! Cons: • The hammock itself is pretty thin, I think it could tear if it scraped against the ground • Speaking of, it stretches quite a bit so I had to lay in it and readjust it a couple of times to get it the ideal height. Perhaps that was a first-time thing though and it may remain stretched next time • It's a bit hard to imagine two people being in it at the same time, it'd be pretty cozy (if that's what you're looking for). • It's probably not ideal for say reading a book or watching the clouds because it doesn't say flat, it's much better if you want to be securely contained within it as it wraps around you like a cocoon • The straps are well built and pretty long, but I had some trouble finding two trees that were the ideal width apart. Not sure much can be done about this and, in the woods, options would be plentiful. It's only if you wanted to put this on your property where there may be limited options that it could be challenging. I own a lot of gear by the maker and really like their hunting, fishing, and hiking products. If you're looking for a perfect lightweight purpose-built hammock to go hiking or camping with, I'd recommend this one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The Extremus Double Body Sling Camping Hammock is super durable and extremely easy to set up. It comes packaged nicely, easy storage and in this model it can hold two people or up to 500 pounds. It only took me maybe 10 minutes total set up time as a first time user. Once I've done it a few times it shouldn't take me more than 5 minutes. I like the green color so that I can blend in with the forest if I need to and the fact that it's made out of parachute material I know that it's a great material and should last for an extremely long time. I can’t wait to use this more when I hike or camp out as this is one of the things I enjoy doing. You can check out the video to see how my process was setting it up. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this for my own use as I've enjoyed using my wife's expensive name brand hammock. I was shocked to find very similar straps, if not exactly the same. The price I paid for this "ready-to-go" hammock was the price of her straps alone. We both sat in the hammock to verify it's strength and it held up great. We heard no rips or strain on the material. We forgot to bring her hammock so she opted to use mine for several hours. In her opinion, she felt the material is thinner than hers and believes that's the difference in cost. However, I explained the thinner material is less weight, more compact when packed in it's own pocket, and still just as durable. The clips are heavy duty metal and not like some cheap plastic types. I was surprised at the quality of the included pillow which was a nice bonus. The pillow has a nice shutoff valve making fill up with your mouth very quick and easy. Definitely recommend this hammock. My only issue I had was trying to untie the knot when first opening, which was only annoying because I was rushing for the video. ... show more

This is it!! I've been looking for a lightweight and comfortable hammock to use as chair and for storage while camping and this hammock is perfect for that! It is compact and really easy to setup and take down. I purchased the double for the extra room and because it will give me enough fabric to wrap a cocoon around my gear, or myself. The last time I took it camping I used this to store all my gear off the ground by hanging it below my sleeping hammock, worked great! Also, the hanging straps are designed so you can hook your hammock in many different ways and at different lengths. Depending on your skill set and location. And because it comes with a high weight rated carabiner I also use the loop system of the tree ties to hang things. This also came with an inflatable pillow which I almost donated, glad I didn't. It was surprisingly comfy and took less then to puff of air to blow-up. I found it to be most comfortable recommend by filling it halfway. The only thing I'd add or change..I prefer a woodsy or camo design vs a solid or bright color. ... show more

I was looking for a hammock to take camping. One that’s light weight and portable, yet durable. I have purchased products from this manufacturer before and have been very satisfied, so why not try them for the hammock. This Extremus hammock is really nice. It is very durable. I was camping with some friends before who had a hammock, not an Extremus, and I was not happy with their product so I was Very Happy when I received the Extremus hammock to see how light weight and durable it was. The design to roll back up within it's own attached pouch, which packages the cables to attach to trees and a blow up pillow is also extremely insightful packaging and a real added bonus! The price was right and I hit the purchase button. Glad I did! Have only used once so far, and so far so good. Used the el el been hammy stand. Took a few tries to not sit on the ground bat as the hammy has a bit of stretch. And I was ultra careful as I'm to old to be falling on that bar! Once I figured out how to make the GREAT straps work with the stand, I got in. Comfy!!! I laid sideways to enjoy a view but as it got cooler, I cacooned and even mosquitoes didn't find me! It was so peaceful! I have got to say that the pillow is pretty incredible! It looks a bit "light weight". It is not! And because of its comfort, I have doubts I will make it through the Perseid meteor showers with my eyes open! Happy camper! ... show more
