Description

For a quick grab and a maximum hold in offshore anchoring, set your eyes to the Extreme Max Cube Anchor! The unconventional design of a cube anchor shines where conventional-style anchors falter. No longer will you have to drag your anchor until you feel it hold or question whether or not it set, the cube anchor sets almost immediately upon impact and adjusts its hold and positioning in changing winds and currents without having to be manually maneuvered from the boat. When the parking is finished, the cube anchor quickly releases from the bottom and collapses flat to save space on your boat.

  • Best anchor I have ever owned
Style: Zinc-Plated Cube Anchor
The media could not be loaded. I have looked at this anchor system for a couple years now. There are several manufacturers with varying prices but I settled on this system because of the lower than average price. I camp a lot and we take our 20' pontoon with us. During summers it's not uncommon to get fast moving thunderstorms and microburst while on the lake. There is also a tremendous about of boat traffic during the day which causes horrible waves that beat the boat against the shore. In the video above is my pontoon during a fast moving thunderstorm. This was the first true test of the system. Previously I had a 50lb dumbell tied to anchor chain and rope. The weight would hold the boat just fine but in a storm or heavy wave situation the boat would drag the anchor slightly. I have had sand anchors, drift anchors, mushroom anchors d homemade anchors. This is byfar the best anchor I have had. At this campsite the water is about 12"deep when you step off land and drops significantly as you go out with a mix of rocks, some sand but mostly fine silt. This area is on a point and the land is erosion protected by rocks and wrapped fencing so you have to make sure the anchor hold you off about 2' or your boat will be destroyed by waves pushing it I to the rocks. You can see in the video that this anchor held strong. I would give 6 stars if it was an option. Folds up for easy storage and is very easy to set up and set the anchor point. It really doesn't matter how you throw off the boat because it will correct itself and dig in quickly. Removing the anchor is easy as well. If you have a pontoon or any kind of boat that's heavy and needs a better anchor system do yourself a favor and buy this system. You will not regret it. ... show more

  • Amazing Anchor
Style: Zinc-Plated Cube Anchor
This anchor holds our 24ft pontoon in place on windy days with no problems. My cousin was anchored next to us today and had to keep resetting his, and asked me for the link for mine since I wasn't moving.

  • Solid construction, worth every penny
Style: Zinc-Plated Cube Anchor
This is the best anchor I've ever owned. Don't waste your time with the traditional fluke anchors. I have a 23 foot wakeboard boat and this is the first anchor I've owned that hits the bottom and locks us in without dragging. One gripe, but it's minimal, is the locking bar to fold and unfold is really difficult to manipulate. I store the anchor opened in the box mode to avoid the locking bar. ... show more

  • Its Heavy but it holds
Style: Zinc-Plated Cube Anchor
So far the best anchor I have used. I have tried a few. I wish it could be a little lighter and easier to move around but it holds my tritoon in any bottom conditions.

  • Lifesaver
Style: Zinc-Plated Cube Anchor
After trying several different anchor types, we finally decided to get this one after many recommendations from friends. It catches immediately and we no longer have to worry about drifting due to the clay bottom in the lake.

  • Best anchor I’ve ever owned!
Style: Zinc-Plated Cube Anchor
Best investment & anchor I’ve made yet! Paid $86.41 on 6-24-2023 & shocked to see the price at $127 today. The 19lb anchor has held my 22ft tri-toon pontoon effortlessly. My buddy uses the same one on his 28ft tri-toon and even a windy day doesn’t move us. I’ve used a combination of a 15 lb spike with an additional #10 fluke anchor for years & was always resetting on windy days. Set it & forget it! I would buy a second one right now but the $41 price increase in the last 10 days has me looking at other options. If this seller drops the price back I’ll buy again & so will several other boaters I’m friends with. SMH. ... show more

  • Works great but you need to know...
Style: Zinc-Plated Cube Anchor
It's been a year since purchase and I have used this box anchor with my 19' Key West many times. I live in Charleston SC and most of my boating is near shore or in the rivers near the harbor. The anchor works great and holds the boat in the changing tides with no problems. My only 'knocks' would be with setup and storage. You will want a rubber matt or other protection when setting the spring loaded hook to form the anchor. The folded anchor is also too big for the anchor storage locker on my boat. Small problems to have but worth pointing out just the same. I am happy with my purchase. ... show more
