I love this backpack. It is light as a feather, easy to carry and easy to pack In a bigger bag as a in a bigger bag as an extra . Right now my 10 year old niece is actually using it and she loves it as well. I like that the lining is in typical Vera Bradley splash of colors. Even, though the backpack is black, you can enjoy the beautiful colors when you open it. The backpack has pockets inside and outside, and two pockets on the side, I was able to fit a slimmer water bottle in it Also I like that this one is nylon, and very tolerant to dirt and stains. Let’s get this out of the way: this is a downgrade from the old style of compact backpack. There are fewer pockets, the side pockets for water bottles is smaller and cannot hold brands like S’well anymore, and there is only 1 zipper for the main compartment. This bag feels like it should be in the Outlet line. The fact it’s Signature is laughable. All that being said, it’s still mostly the same bag as before, same size and same silhouette. The nylon material is the same as the Outlet’s Ultralight, so it is lightweight but tough. VB rarely does creams, so I just couldn’t resist buying this despite its flaws. It looks cute and holds what I need. I can live without pen slips, and the side pocket cinches are a pretty touch. I am more comfortable dropping my phone and keys in the side pockets now because I can tighten them. I got this in-store when it was discounted, which is the only time I’d say this new style is worth its price.

This mini backpack is very well made, as you would expect a Vera Bradley bag to be. The outer shell is a soft, quilted material (nylon I believe) and it is water/spill proof. The inside is a beautiful, brightly colored floral print also in a nylon-type material. The material of the bag is easily cleanable with a damp rag. The hardware - zippers, slides, etc. - are all made of a heavy duty plastic and move smoothly without catching. The bag has two internal compartments, the largest of which can hold quite a bit, up to an A4 sized planner or notebook, along with a wallet and small make up bag. The outer pocket has two sectioned pockets that could be perfect for a cell phone or other similarly shaped items. There are also two outer pockets on either side that could hold a bottle of water, provided it is the typical skinny bottle. The straps are completely adjustable so that you can wear it comfortably, either slung over one shoulder or with both straps secure on your back. Vera Bradley bags have always been known as a higher end, quality product and this one does not disappoint.

Light weight and perfect size! I love this little backpack purse with the lovely flower detail inside. Adjustable straps, plenty of zip pockets to keep everything safe and organized. This bag is well constructed and consistent with the Vera Bradley brand. Comfortable and so easy to wear.

This is a perfectly sized small backpack. I love how lightweight it is, making it more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The zippers are very high quality and incredibly smooth. I love the brightly colored interior, which livens the whole bag up and makes it easier to find things. My water bottle with about a 2 and 11/16 inch diameter fits into the side pocket, but it’s a tight fit. There are the two side pockets, the open pocket on the back (no zipper), and the zipper pouch on the front. Inside the pouch on the front are two open pockets that fit my cell phone well. Inside the backpack there is a zippered pocket on the back. It’s a good spot to put a wallet, because it’s a little more secure. If I could make a couple of changes to the bag, I would make the outside back pocket have a zipper. I would feel safest with my wallet in that, where it’s against my back. I would also like a place to clip my keys. Other than that, this is a great little backpack.

Just the right size! My daughter and I are both in love with this backpack and have each used it. As an adult, I can comfortably carry all my essentials and more. (Wallet, makeup bag, Kindle, keys, coffee tumbler, phone, etc) My tween typically carries her Nintendo Switch Lite, a book, her tablet and phone, and a small pouch of personal items. High quality stitching and the fabric feels so nice! Love the black in the style, so versatile. Highly recommend!

I have never purchased a Vera Bradley product but have always heard good things. The look of this bag and specs was what I was looking for. Unfortunately it is really LACKING DURABILITY. I’ve had it about 2 weeks. Just light around town kind of wear and it’s already tearing at the side! For the $80 I would pass on this style with nylon puff and choose a stronger fabric if you choose to stick with the line. I’m really disappointed because as a middle aged woman who is not hard on her purses. This should have held up.
