I like the serrated sections, great for breaking free small hoses and vacuum line. Tip grip is good, handles are comfy; I prefer the grips to others I have used. They give you a good grip when covered in oil/coolant, but clean up well. I feel as though my snap ons were a bit more rigid, as you can feel the flex in the working end when removing heavy duty spring clips. Admittedly, that was probably not a design criteria, but most mechanics use these for that purpose as well. I likely hold knipex to an unfairly high standard.
