The stick is made sturdy and seems stable. The mechanism is smooth and easy to extend and retract through the screw type tighteners. This is not as easy or as quick as some other quick release fasteners, but I could live with that part. What I was more disappointed but is that this is just a stick with a bolt tip and does not include the phone holder or any other plate to attach a phone or camera to it, except cameras that have a crew type hole on the bottom for tripods. To use this, you would need to purchase a phone holder that attached to the tip of this rod. I also took another star off since either the title is misleading or my unit did not work as it should because based on the name on the title, I expected this pole to be invisible (assuming it won't show on the screen shot) but it shows in all my shots. ... show more
