I ordered the grey 42 in crate cover for my Doberman and it fits perfectly snug to the crate. I used to put blankets on top of the crate but he would pull them in and destroy them. This sits perfectly so that he won’t be able to pull any part of the cover in. The new plastic off gas smell was not great, I would recommend letting the material breathe in the shade outside at least for a few hours before putting it on the crate. Also I’d recommend leaving at least a flap open if you aren’t home/ theres no ac on. It gets hot inside, I do wish the material was more breathable but opening part of it works fine too. ... show more

We went from our 3 month old puppy going out at after 1am and then barking at 6 to go out again. The first night with this cover he went from 1am to 8am. Now a couple weeks later he is sleeping from 1030pm to 7am. when he is out of control I will put him in his crate and put the flaps down and he will sleep for a good 1.5 hours...and come out like a calm playful puppy again. I dont use the zippers on top or by door so that i can check on him and let him out quick. He hasnt tried to chew it....and he has tried to chew everything else (im on my 3rd phone screensaver). Im guessing its because its not zippered tight and he can peek out if he wants or just enjoy the dark quiet ... show more

I love the quality of the fabric, the tie ups for the flaps and window, and the slit for the top of the crate handle. The cover is well fitted but at the same time has enough room to add a no-drip water bottle to the side of the crate. I like that only 3 sides have zippers, only enough for a front or the adjoining side to lift up the desired flap. So far my zipper loving pup has left those alone! ... show more

So, it worked great for blocking out the morning sunlight, but it was no match against a seven month old husky. He was able to get through his crate and chew it up, including the plastic toggles. Not the products fault. Husky puppy 1, Crate Cover-0. My suggestion though to the manufacturer is to figure out a way they can’t get to the plastic toggles. ... show more

I ordered a 48inch crate/cage with 2 doors and it fit like a glove blocks the sun and has little windows or have the option of rolling up the 2 sides like I have in the picture so you can see your pup better or for more airflow. Love it ☺️
