Personally, I love this crate cover. I had purchased a different one and it was kind of like a trash bag. It also didn’t tie at the bottom to hold the cover together, which is a no go for my 90 pound 1 year old black lab. She destroys everything. So I sought out for a new cover with good reviews and maybe even some reviews with other dog parents in similar situations. This crate cover ties at the bottom. I like the functionality of it as well. It’s very sleek and fitting for my room and good material. I like the little windows it has, even though I do leave the front open for my dog. My dog is Great Pyrenees and black lab mix so she has a thick coat and can run hot. I’ve noticed she’s perfectly fine if I just leave one of the flaps open for her. I would not recommend anyone having all 4 flaps down unless their dog is more often cold. My dog also just got spayed recently and I did notice a little bit of a difference when it comes to her anxiety. Unfortunately my dog does have major separation anxiety but she was not as freaked out as she would normally be. I would definitely say this is a good value for the money spent and would recommend this to others.

Easy to put on, Durable and thick fabric, fits perfectly and also provides a safe place for the hound to rest. There is one window (with a screen) opening if you want to unzip it. I have the front rolled up and the remaining three sides down. Excellent quality and value.

Great Crate Cover

I ordered the grey 42 in crate cover for my Doberman and it fits perfectly snug to the crate. I used to put blankets on top of the crate but he would pull them in and destroy them. This sits perfectly so that he won’t be able to pull any part of the cover in. The new plastic off gas smell was not great, I would recommend letting the material breathe in the shade outside at least for a few hours before putting it on the crate. Also I’d recommend leaving at least a flap open if you aren’t home/ theres no ac on. It gets hot inside, I do wish the material was more breathable but opening part of it works fine too.

Game changer for my pup with separation anxiety

I have a VERY anxious mastiff mix rescue pup. We don’t know much about his background but he was definitely abused and suffers from bad anxiety and separation anxiety. We’ve tried EVERYTHING to help with his separation anxiety when we have to go to work; thundershirts, music, toys, etc. After talking to his vet and dog trainers, we figured we’d try a crate cover to try and help keep him gone when we’re not at home. Before he would chew and dig his crate resulting in the bottom pan getting shredded and the door is severely bent. As soon as i put the crate cover on, it was an instant change. He was a bit hesitant at first because it’s new, but he LOVES it. He’s so much calmer and more relaxed. The cover makes it darker and more enclosed like a den so he feels a lot safer. The cover itself is great quality! It’s easy super easy to install and fits great so my pup can’t get the corners and chew them. The material is waterproof (and drool proof) so it’s easy to just wipe down when needed. Definitely recommend this cover! Especially if you have an anxious pup!

Great cover. Heavy thick material like you would use outside. Seems waterproof. Fits snug, so it took a bit to get on, but fits well. I like that you can use the end or the side door of the kennel. We choose the side door, it has a little mesh door on the small side that keeps it dark but let’s some air ventilation. I have a reactive dog that can’t settle and by the end of the day she was choosing to go in her kennel without being asked or rewarded. It created a dark calming space. Would recommend.
