Looks great, seems durable, quality construction, and fits our wire crate perfectly with plenty of elastic securing hooks. We’d been using old blankets to cover our dog’s crate, but it looked pretty bad. Searched here and looked at many options for covers — glad to have found this one. It opens on every side and the top, and makes the crate look much better (we bought the blue color). It had a slight plastic smell and some wrinkles out of the package, but I put it in the dryer on low for 20 minutes and that helped. It looks to be waterproof with no mesh vents, so we definitely plan to keep the front (crate door side) fully open. Tip: we first rolled up the crate-door-side fabric and secured it with the elastic hooks, but didn’t like the rolled-up look. So (since we plan to keep the fabric door on that side always open), we tucked the fabric flap flat under the top part (between the top of the crate and the cover), and it looks really nice.

This has been so great! We have an anxious 75 lb dog who sometimes pulls and a super excited 60 lb pit mix who insisted on always pulling any sheet or blanket cover into the crate and chewing it. He lost crate cover privileges as a result. We keep 4 crates... 1 for each in our bedroom to sleep in and 1 each in our living room for when we need to leave during the day. I was getting worried with the colder weather approaching when someone posted this, so I looked into it. I was skeptical so I got 1 to try on the pullers bedroom crate. I secured all the flaps to the crate bottoms to help keep it in place. He hasn’t tried once to pull. I’m not sure if he could if he wanted to since there’s not a lot of give, but he hasn’t even tried. In fact, he seems to be more relaxed because we put a bed in during the ice storm for warmth and he didn’t try to eat it (he lost bedding privileges too because he’s a fabric chewer). He now just sleeps in it, and LOVES it. He hates coming out when it’s wake up time. After a couple of months of waiting to see if he’d start pulling, we finally ordered 2 more for the living room crates, and will definitely be ordering 1 more for the other bedroom crate. Still no pulling from either of our dogs! This was a much needed solution for us.

I have a 48 inch crate in my living room that came with a black, thin, trash bag looking cover. I have to look at this thing every day, so opted to upgrade and chose the dark blue cover that matched my decor. It is fantastic, well made and well worth every penny. The color alone, paired with how the flap rolls up makes it look expensive and kind of like a well made expedition tent. I am super happy with this purchase and would highlight recommend. The zippers on the side I have left half way unzipped for ventilation and I also have some led lights lining the wall that peaks in like a nightlight, my dog likes a little light :)
