Features

  • Ultimate Camping Versatility: The MegaMat stands as the premium self-inflating air mattress for tent and car camping enthusiasts, delivering best-in-class comfort with 4 inches of cored foam that's especially ideal for SUV air mattress setups and side sleepers
  • Premium Insulated Design: This foam camping pad combines high-quality open-cell polyurethane foam with 30% more foam coring, creating an exceptional insulated sleeping pad that excels both on campsite ground and in vehicle setups while preventing "bottoming out."

  • Maximized Comfort Anywhere: Perfect for tent and car camping, the innovative 3D vertical sidewall construction eliminates edge tapering, while the included Top-Up Pump transforms this camping pad for sleeping into your ideal firmness level - add air for more support or release for a softer feel
  • Versatile Transport & Setup: Two welded side handles ensure effortless handling of this foam sleeping pad, while the enhanced foam core allows for faster deflation and a compact packed size, making it the ultimate self-inflating air mattress for both ground and vehicle adventures

  • Great mattress
This thing is so comfortable and easy to set up. Feels almost as good as my home mattress. I bought the megapump to go with this so inflating takes no time at all. I've had it filled with air for a week straight and haven't seemed to have lost any air firmness in the past few nights of use. The 4 inch thickness is perfect for my large body. There's no shifting of air and I have a perfect level of support. ... show more

  • Perfect item. Buy this.
I'm SO glad I bought these. Given their price, I was hesitant to buy multiple of them for my camping kit, but have zero buyer's remorse, after using them this weekend. I'm a 6'2" 270lb guy with a bad back. If I sleep on anything harder than a pillow top, my back is agony in the morning. My tiny girlfriend is the opposite, and needs to sleep on bricks to sleep well. We were both ecstatic. When fully inflated, they're very stiff, which is good for some, but you can deflate it to make it super soft as well. I deflated mine until it was just full enough that my pressure points wouldn't touch the ground underneath, and it's suuuuuper comfy. More comfortable than my memory foam mattress at home, in fact. As an unexpected bonus, they're ridiculously easy to inflate, deflate, and put away. Trivially easy. Inflating is just letting it sit for a bit, then using a few steps on the provided pump. To deflate, you just roll it over a few times and lay on it to get all the air out. It looks like it's vacuum sealed at that point, and you can easily roll it up and put it in the side-loading sack. No grueling effort to roll it perfectly tight and shove it into a too-small hole like a lot of over camping equipment. No cons at all. Whoever engineered this, hit me up, and I'll buy you a coffee/beer. ... show more

  • Bulky and expensive, but good.
About as heavy and comfortable as it gets. This mattress seems built to last and is incredibly comfortable. With one important caveat: it's bulky and heavy. Great for car camping or glamping, but practically useless for hiking and camping, unless you don't mind stealing a comically large mattress to the outside of your bag and you can support an extra 4.5 lbs of gear. For regularl through hiking or extended hiking just buy a regular inflatable and be happy. ... show more

  • Expensive Garbage
Size: Duo Long Wide Plus
Do not buy!!! I purchased this sleeping mat 5 months ago because I was looking for a better nights sleep when camping. The first time I used it it completely deflated within 4 hours of sleep. I had to wake up in the middle of the night to pump it up by hand with the included (gimmicky) manual air pump. Very frustrating. The material is weaker than the plastic on my air mattress. It has now punctured several times in the following months. Most of which were in a truck camper! Simply from sitting on it keys in my back pocket! I wanted to love this sleeping mat, because when its inflated and it holds air it really is comfortable. But not once since I've owned it have i had a good night's rest. Its expensive and does not warrant the price tag. It deflates on its own extremely quickly, the foam offers no support when its deflated. Punctures easily. Only comes with 2 patches. And is costs $400+. Don't waste your money. ... show more

  • Slight preference for this mattress over the outfitter version.
I purchased both the Megamat outfitter 10LXW and a regular Megamat 10 LXW. I don’t write many reviews, but did for this product because I wanted to answer the questions I felt were poorly answered in my own research. So far, I love the perceived durability and peace of mind of the Outfitter version. The regular version feels softer, more bed-like and the fabric is quieter than the outfitter. We are using them to replace the mattress in our pop up travel trailer and it is going to be a great fit. With the added bonus that we can remove them easily and use them elsewhere. For the record, I am 5’10” and 300 pounds, and the mattress has survived well with myself and my two 7 year old boys, or with myself and the wife crammed on it. I have tried the mattress on a houseboat roof, in front of the TV and on the deck stargazing. By having a separate mat for the wife and myself, we can each adjust to our desired firmness without affecting the other person. I don’t know how they do it, but these do not roll like your typical airbed. I have tried the mattress both firm and soft. Firm requires about 30 pumps with the include pump. The softest I have tried (which seems too limp until you get on) is the fill by opening the valve alone. I was surprised to find that I prefer it on the softer side. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily the mattress can be rolled up to approximately the same tightness as it came from the factory. We watched one video that compared them to a college dorm mattress, that was a poor choice of words and a bad comparison. I would compare these to a regular mattress at home, they are probably as comfortable as a home mattress (including for side or stomach sleeping) or more comfortable due to the adjustability. It is difficult to say which version I prefer, both are excellent, and very comfortable. I suspect the regular version will prove to be adequately durable, so that is probably the version I would buy if there ever were a next time… ... show more
