Since I didn't have help, I really appreciate that there were lifting straps for the tabletop. Moving that box by myself would have been nearly impossible if I would not have had the straps to lift with. Otherwise, assembly was fairly straight forward. Things that could be improved: 1. The packaging of the legs allowed the paint on one of the legs to be scuffed through to metal along a visible side. I had the necessary primer, paint and paint gun in the garage to fix this and took care of it at my partner's request. 2. When the ends are extended, they are level with the main tabletop at the edges but bow up in the middle to create a slight bump. Not the end of the world, but definitely there. 3. I will be attaching some dense rubber damping material to the inside of the legs because they resonate more than I'd like. Otherwise, great table. The top had already demonstrated that it is tough when a ladder fell on it with no damage. ... show more

This is definitely going to be a conversation piece when we host friends! The table came in 3 boxes. It took me less than 30 to assemble it. You will need help with turning the table top once it’s fully assembled.

Table is heavy because of the top. 4 stars only because the legs are made of thin metal and seems like they could damage easily. Install was very easy. Took me and my wife 30 mins to unpack and put it together. The slide extension works smoothly and is a nice feature for large gathering. Table top is exactly what is pictured and is beautiful. We love our table. We ordered this table on another website, but it got lost in transit. We ordered on Amazon, for cheaper. We were unsure if it was the same exact table, but it is and it looks amazing. Note: It is VERY heavy, but my wife and I were able to muscle it into the house and into place. Do not be afraid. Cons: - It comes in a huge wooden crate, which is a small hassle, but we're grateful it protected the table. - There were a couple of scratches on the base, but would be too much of a hassle to make a big deal of it. ... show more

We paired the table with black modern velvet chairs. Table was delivered early. No damage. Was missing screws to attach base to top, but seller was very prompt to inform us if screw size and immediately mailed us the screws and instructions. End extensions work as described. Solid table... Definitely recommend. It is a stone type of top, so slightly noisier than a wood top, but that's no issue to us ... show more
