The lock on this was a tough one at first thought to figure but with tinkering it was not too bad. It is preset with the code that it comes with, as long as you remember that code you are all good. There are no instructions on how to operate or change the code either. The lock itself is simple and easy enough to use. There is not much difficulty to opening the suitcase or closing it. The zipper is smooth with an easy movement. There is no catch or flaw in it so far. The inside has ample space to be able to pack for a small business trip or be able to pack for 2 smaller kids in this together. One side has a zipper enclosure which holds up on its own when closed and the other is a more simple basic side. So if you are packing for 2 it will keep things separate, or if you are packing to keep things hidden or more secure. The wheels on this are so SMOOTH. They roll like butter in a hot pan. There is no issue with the roll or change of direction. The handle comes up just as easily as well, and glides back into place well. The structure of the suitcase is solid and firm, which will hold up to being tossed around or moved a lot. The cover which comes with this is easier to find on a luggage carousal, it is bright and easily slides over the case but takes a bit of work to come off. Overall this case is perfect as a carryon to fit in the over head, but not under the seat. It is easy to find with the washable cover and will hold plenty for smaller trips or for a longer trip with smaller kids. This suitcase is sturdy and should last through many years of flying.

Having a built-in TSA-approved lock provides great peace of mind for security checkpoints. Itβs one of the main things I look for in luggage now.
