The side button covers for volume and google assist buttons do not allow the buttons to be pressed. I have to go through settings menu for volume and alternate way for google assistance.

I haven't accidentally tested the durability so far but it seems like it will do really well. There is no opening in the case for the sim tray because of this it is very hard to open the sim tray without risking accidentally removing the top layer with the built in screen protector. However it is possible to do. The color is a bit different from what is shown. It's mostly less intense a color. I wonder and worry about whether or not they sell replacement screen protectors. I would recommend looking into that. ... show more

    • A decent case, but a couple annoying quirks.

I've had this case for a couple months but am looking at getting a new one. The pros: it looks good and seems sturdy and durable. The cons: It's very difficult to open the kickstand. Forget about trying to do it with your fingernail. You need a butter knife or some other thing sturdy tool to get it open. Even worse though are the volume buttons. I press them and 90% of the time nothing happens. You really have to fiddle around with the area near the volume buttons to get them to work. I'm guessing it's an issue with the case not fitting as well as it should with the phone. ... show more

The case almost doubles the width of the phone and I had to reprogram the fingerprint unlock. Those were the only problems I had with the case. The case is very well made and its texture gives you a good grip, no more having the phone slip through your fingers and it comes with a screen protecter. I think you will be pleased with its durability. The reason for the extra width is the case has an outer shell and a rubber membrane which covers the back and sides of the phone. ... show more

Only issue is that I can't adjust the volume or take screenshots without peeling away the rubber part of the case. It's really hard to get the volume buttons to work on the case. So that's frustrating, but it's well built outside of that
