I have always been interested in drones but the prices have always deterred me from getting one. The ones that were affordable did not have the flight time or capabilities one would want. I saw an ad for this product and immediately started to look and I'm glad I did. It controls well and is not just a flying camera but a fun flying experience. You put this thing into fast mode and it's exactly what I had hoped. If you are in the market for a drone I would highly recommend this product. Not only does it have a great price point but seems to be very sturdy and well made as well as having a setup that is so easy my grandmother could do it. I received the drone a few days ago, and both the battery and remote were charged and ready to go, so I watched both the Quick Start and Feature Walkthrough videos and was in the air about 10 - 15 minutes after that. The drone is very easy to fly, but since I am a newbie and have decided not to use headless mode it'll take me some time to get acclimated to the drone's orientation. I haven't used any of the automated flying features yet (follow me, circle, etc.), but I do plan to once I'm more familiar with the basics. Overall, after doing a ton of research on many drones in the beginner / intermediate category, I'm extremely happy that I went with this one. One more thing, the customer support so far has been excellent! I've only reached out once, but I received a quick and very thorough response. There's nothing like feeling fully supported after your drone purchase, especially when you're new to drones.

I started with some cheap bulky drones in order to learn how to fly before making an investment like this. From the moment I opened the box the difference in quality was noticed immediately! My plans are to use this at work (why not have fun while you work). My job requires our team to go looking for homeless encampments in order to help our most vulnerable neighbors. This can be dangerous at times with "homemade alarm systems" and boobytraps. Or, we waste time looking in areas with no activity. This will allow us to view sites safely and determine if they are active. Five years ago I was homeless and now I use my knowledge to help others and show others there is a way out. Other big cities already have this as a standard operating procedure, and I am going to show how necessary this is. Hopefully the company will invest in a fleet of drones saving time and money that could be used to help our clients! Your commitment to customer service is what made this a no brainier!! So I received the drone today. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with all the information that came with the drone. The two start up videos were awesome. They gave me all the info I needed to get started. The second video was very detailed regarding the operation of the drone. After I loaded the app going through the "Prepariing for first flight" was very helpful. I was surprised and welcome the information regarding potential interference that could affect the drones flight and how to mitigate those issues. I was able to get things set up and take my first flight with the Ranger Plus. I have not been able to test all the bells and whistles this drone has yet, but the first flight was awesome. I was relieved as this definitely was not my experience with my HS 720 by another company. The ability to get detailed instructions in a simplistic manner was awesome. I hope in the future days I can share more of my experience with the Ranger plus.

First off - EXOS CUSTOMER SERVICE - is by far - worst I've ever experienced. I ordered extra props the same time I ordered drone. Always want extras on hand - so drone shows up, 2 weeks later still no props. They tell me so sowwy, never sent, offer a 10 percent discount... On a $20 order? What a joke. Offered someleg extensions free.... THEN I GOT A SNEAKY EMAIL saying it was cancelled. So - pack this garbage back up - send it back... Embarrassing I wasted that much energy on such a pile of cheap plastic. Refund! BYE EXO

Shipping was very quick. Drone comes with a very nice carry bag with plenty of space for extra batteries and parts. Drone feels solidly made, not cheap flimsy plastic. The quick start video and the feature walk through tutorial videos were very helpful. Recomend watching them a couple of times. And before each flight until you get familar. Getting started went smooth. Gonna take some practice to get to flying loke an ace. Video and photos are awesome quility also. This is a great drone for a beginner like me.

I purchased the EXO X7 Ranger Plus after a friend showed & demonstrated his X7 Ranger. I considered other models from EXO but a first hand demo convinced me this was a good choice for my first drone. I also considered DJI but American located support made my choice easy. As a licensed pilot (real airplanes) I am very cautious starting out but after a couple days of use I feel more comfortable each flight. I will maintain and abide by all flight restictions and will pursue part 107 certification. I'm satisfied with the performance, 3-axis gimbal camera, and the fly app, although I primarily use the controller as a "nubie" to the drone sport. I would recommend this model to anyone but if you must have very refined video, especially with fast action recordings, then I recommend you consider one with a 60fps capability vice 30fps. But for my intended use, filming my small acerage, examining roof and gutters, and recording RV travels this X7 Rangeer Plus is perfect.

Great purchase! Well constructed drone with many features. The carrying case and extra battery is a nice bonus too. It's very easy to fly, even in a light breeze. I like the idea of the crash avoidance sensor, but I have to leave it off due to it not allowing me to fly in tighter spaces like between my house and fence. The picture quality is good too. Great drone for the money!
