    • Decently safe, and not very dorky
The media could not be loaded. I hate how most bicycle gear looks so dorky, I needed something cheap, cool and most importantly safe because I had bought a bike impulsively and I needed to be safely irresponsible. I haven't fallen yet but he helmet has and has held together. the foam and plastic has pretty good structure and it's pretty breathable, it's not too hard but it should break pretty well to absorb your fall and prevent a concussion. It's also very comfortable and aerodynamic, my only complain is that the plastic at the front that is held by the screw tends to slide off to the front sometimes. Pretry good to have while you get something better I would say it's single use but $9 or a concussion? What a steal ... show more

I live in a hot and sunny environment. I was looking for a helmet with a big brim. This one is fine. I would have liked the brim a bit longer, but it is doing it's job. Seems well built, and wears comfortably. When it gets brutally hot, I will switch to my summer helmet. This one is fine for cool to warm, but feels a bit hot for really brutal weather. ... show more

Packed well in a box, in bubble wrap, in a bag. Helmet needed assembly, three screws hold the visor on the front. No instructions so on by-guess-by-golly I found three screws and three holes. Lined them up and struggled with front screw. Once I got it started, I see it is designed to “clip” on the front screw so you don’t have to figure out how to get your finger in the tight spot. Assembly was quick. And looks good. A simple Phillips head will tighten the screws down little more. Fitment is a little lose at the forehead, even after adjusting the cap band to my head. The space is probably fine for casual riders, but I am not sure a pro cyclist would like the gap. Overall a great helmet for the price point. ... show more
