The reviews I read on Amazon about this mattress topper encouraged me to to give it a try! And, boy, I'm glad I did. I might be able to put off buying a new mattress for a couple of years, because of this high quality mattress topper is so comfortable -- it has just the right amount of padding, and it's pretty. I love it! ! am a senior citizen with a bad back. I've tried the foam mattress pads/mattress toppers, and they didn't work for me at all. They were just OK while I was sleeping, but my back ached when I got up in the morning. Since I've been sleeping on this mattress topper from Exceptional Sheets, I sleep better, and when I get up in the morning, my back is not aching -- which is the goal of a good mattress topper!! Features of the mattress topper: I want to tell you more reasons I love this mattress topper. I am amazed at its comfort! I can't afford to buy a new mattress right now, so I thought I'd take a chance and try one of these mattress toppers When I get up in the morning, I am usually pain-free --and that means a better day all the way around. More Features of the mattress topper: The mattress topper fits easily over my complete mattress, like a fitted sheet; it's attractive and stays in place. Also, the color of the pad is crisp white -- it's really white! It's not a grey pad that was advertised as being white but when you got it, the pad was really an ugly grey-white, pretending to be white. Your mattress pad is high quality! Down the road, when I do decide to buy a new mattress,I will still use your mattress topper! I can't say anything about the durability of this mattress topper, because I've only had it a 3 months -- so far so good! I hope it lasts for a good while. This is my second mattress pad. My pillow-top mattress is about six years old and starting to feel its age, so I thought if I got a mattress pad with some padding to it, I could add a few more years of life to it. The first mattress pad I got was a super thick down pad that went on top of the mattress, and it was great until about a week or two in, when all the down moved to one side and continued to migrate all over the place- always exactly where my body was not. After washing it a few times (it was supposed to be washer-safe), the down ended up clumped up in corners and we just gave up on it. This mattress pad is EONS better. While not nearly as padded, it's about the same padding "strength" as the pillow top on the Serta mattress it covers. The top is completely quilted (I guess that's the right word for it?) so that the padding is evenly distributed. I washed the cover immediately after receiving it and it came out of the washer/dryer perfectly- no migration of any padding. The mattress cover was super easy to put on the mattress. I usually have to ask my husband to help with stuff like that since the mattress is a king sized and getting all the corners to stay put is a pain in the butt, but I was able to throw this cover on and get it securely around all four corners with ease. The elastic skirt is a perfect fit for my extra-deep pillow top, as well. The only thing that might be an issue is that I have found myself getting *really* hot at night while sleeping. I don't know if it's some sort of health thing or what, but I'm going to keep track of it and if I do find it's associated with this cover, I'll post an update. But even if I have to wind up putting two fitted sheets over it to keep cool, I will do whatever it takes because this mattress pad is *that* nice and comfy.

We recently purchased a memory foam mattress that turned out to be much firmer than anticipated. My husband didn't have a problem with it, but as a side sleeper I had trouble sleeping and had joint pain every morning. I wouldn't say I "sink in" to this mattress pad, or that it provides an overtly obvious change in the bed, but it did allow just a little extra cushion for sleeping when on my side. My hips and shoulders no longer hurt and I'm sleeping soundly. My husband didn't notice a change at all. I have the "king" size, and it is slightly larger than the mattress, by about an inch or so. We tried swapping the way it was oriented but that didn't change. I don't mind, and once again, my husband didn't even notice. It fits our standard king fitted sheets and was easy to put on the bed. We both did notice a small amount of movement/bunching over time, but nothing that made it uncomfortable and as we take it off to wash it we'll be solving that problem anyway. Neither of us noted any sort of cooling from the addition of the mattress pad, but that wasn't our intention when purchasing so it's fine. The packaging it shipped in says explicitly not to wash in traditional top loading washers, but in HE, side loading washers only, and I intend to follow those instructions. If you're looking for something to transform an extra firm mattress into a super soft pillow top, this isn't it, but if you're looking for a bit of additional padding, or you're a side sleeper, then this is likely going to work for you.
