I have a 13-year-old Xbox controller that I’ve been using up until now. It worked, but I have recently been using the PC keyboard instead of the controller for Fallout 4 and Skyrim games, because it was starting to show its age. That was until I got this controller. I use it as a wired controller, but you can use Bluetooth for wireless if you prefer. The first thing I noticed was that going from keyboard to a controller was not just a swap them out kind of deal! I couldn’t remember what buttons did what, so thank God that this controller didn’t add to the stress. It functions perfectly and had significantly better feedback than my old one.     • Hard to setup, but works as expected!
Was difficult to get paired. If you like my kids they took it out of the box managed to switch it on and then we were unable to get it paired to the the Switch. After reading the manual, which was not very helpful as there is a picture of the controller and setup instructions for BT, PS3/4, Switch, Computer, and Android they failed to label any of the buttons. So, when it's telling you to press Option and Home at the same time for 3 seconds, which buttons am I pressing exactly? Anyway, if you end up in this pickle, grab a paper clip, flip the controller over, and locate the small hole on the back. Inset paper clip. Inset into the hole (it goes in about 1 inch). There is a button you press. Hold it down for about 3 seconds and release. The controller will power off. Plug in your USB-C cable, and the controller should start flashing. At this point, you can pair with BT, if you pairing with a Switch, follow those instructions. It's pretty straightforward from here and I was able to get the controller paired up in a matter of seconds. Once it was working on the Switch, it worked great for Luigi's Mansion 3 and the lights on the controller look great. ... show more

This is very similar to another controller I picked up and loved. It connected quickly to my ps4. The lights were the same as my other controller where the center back button controls the light patterns. The preset buttons on the back were easy to set up as well. Everything was very similar and works well. I have no problems and love these controllers. I enjoy the ps5 looking controller design and love this one as much as the others! ... show more

I followed the instructions. I charged it. I reset my system. It wouldn't connect. With or without a wire.

    • Good multi-platform gaming controller
This is a sturdy, well-built third-party controller that synced up easily to my Nintendo Switch using an adapter from 8BitDo. The controller's vibration is impressively strong, but unfortunately, it also drains the battery faster than I'd prefer. I wish the battery capacity was larger, as I often find myself scrambling to charge it. The LED lights can be distracting, and even consulting the manual hasn't revealed how to turn them off completely; they just switch between different lighting modes. Additionally, the button logos are confusing and not particularly intuitive. Despite these drawbacks, this controller remains a good, run-of-the-mill option for multi-platform gaming. ... show more

    • A bit cheaper feel, but works well
I mainly got this for the back buttons which work very well. They’re really clicky. The manual has all the features and details it pretty easy to understand. Cool lighting features. I use this on my gaming laptop and works good. Plug-in-play. No issues.

I find this game controller to be well built and sturdy. It has good feedback from the games and I love the light strip. The only negative I have to say about the controller is that the battery life isn't as long as I would like. I believe overall quality for the price point makes it a very good choice.
