This is the absolute BEST paint I have ever used, and I'm an artist and know my paint! Great coverage, wonderful finish, easy cleanup, durable. I would recommend this paint for any job (house, hobby, farm).

I used this on my mother's sun-damaged window screens to give them a refreshed look. Not a barn or a fence, but it's what I needed black exterior paint for, and it delivered. I ran it through a paint sprayer, which meant thinning it first. The sprayer came with a viscosity cup and a chart, and the chart wasn't entirely dialed in, but it gave me a starting point and I adjusted from there. Once I had the ratio right it sprayed flawlessly. It went on very smooth and did not clog the screen holes. The coverage and finish impressed me. I live in a very hot climate and the day was a scorcher, so the paint dried incredibly fast. The color came out even and a true flat black, exactly what I wanted. I had to go over a few spots with a brush because it was my first time using a spray gun and my technique could use some work. I worried the brush would either go on rougher or clog the mesh, and going on wet it did fill the holes. But as it dried it pulled back to just the surface of the screen and left the holes clear. If you're painting screens, that's worth knowing. For high quality outdoor paint, I think it's a great bargain.

This stuff is pretty good! Easy to mix, easy to use, I painted for awhile then waited 8 hours and went back to work and the paint hadn’t solidified in the can at all which was nice. Wasn’t overly messy. I found the coverage to be just OK, not really as much as I’d hoped, but not bad at all! Buying a 2nd gallon to finish the job. I have no regrets, just wish the price point was closer to $30 than $40

The paint is fabulous! But NOTE that you'll need pliers or channellocks to pry off the plastic/rubber shipping ring around the top of the can before you can open the can. It isn't too hard to pry off but you definitely need to do that first before even trying to open the can. Once it's off, the can can be opened like any other paint can.

I was searching for an inexpensive paint for a deer blind. How could I go wrong with barn and fence paint?? I opened the can…..my wife would have never been able to open it. And inside the can was a glob of sludge and thinner. I stirred it and stirred it and it was horrible. I tried painting and it was total garbage. I was all the way out the back of my property and this was the only day I have before season opens, so I powered through. Nothing but crap. Either the paint was froze/thawed/froze etc, or something else happed to it. I had a green as well, but the green was actually normal. I will never take this risk with this paint again.

Other than having an issue with the lid (was for shipping protection only, but I didn't know that) paint was exceptional. Application was easy any coverage was excellent. Loved this product.
