  • Quality product and incredible customer care!
Size: External Fuel Pump - 300LPH
The best customer service I have ever experienced! I purchased this pump a month ago for a project Prelude I am building and let me just say this pump is solid, strong, and has no problem producing the pressure and flow needed. It even came with NPT to AN fittings to make life so much easier. Hooked it right up to all my new fuel lines. I am currently tuning the Prelude and ran into a couple issues which is expected. The fuel pump was making some odd noises and ended up popping a fuse. I contacted Evil Energy and they explained that the current load for this pump at 60+ PSI was going to be around 15 amps. My original pump never needed more than 10 amps. They also answered a few questions regarding my current setup and said they believe I may have a bad pump. A new pump has already been shipped out and on the way to me. Wow! That's incredible customer service and the fact that they replied to my questions in less than a day and even offered helpful input for my project makes it even greater. I may be having a few issues with my pump but it's also installed on a 1987 Honda that was known for rust contaminating the fuel system and I have replaced just about everything on it but I am still very happy that I chose this company. They are taking care of me whether the error is on my side or theirs. Thats good business, and being a business man it means lot to me. I will definitely be purchasing more products from Evil Energy and will let my fellow car builders know the wonderful treatment and product I have received. Thank you Evil Energy! You guys are great and I look forward to the future business we will be doing together. If you send me some stickers I will advertise for you on all of my builds! ... show more

  • Gauge said no pressure BUT...
Size: External Fuel Pump - 300LPH
Vehicle wouldn't start and fuel pump test gauge says no pressure on LS engine rail. Only ran pump for a few months altogether, not during salty road spells. I am giving 4 stars because I am not sure if it is the pump or something else yet. Second pump from different brand cannot also just go out. Gotta be different issue ... show more

  • Great for carbureted to EFI conversion
Size: External Fuel Pump - 300LPH
Pump installed on an old carbureted ambulance with the 6.6L SBC V8 that needed to be woken up. We switched over to an EFI kit with a new manifold and injection rails, so we had to electronically deliver to fuel to the front. Installation was a breeze, has all the necessary hardware for electrical installation, but keep in mind you will need a mounting solution (a 50mm clamp works well for this). As for performance, it works great so far. We have it externally mounted right next to the gas tank, in line with the bottom of the tank. Doing so prevents cavitation and air pockets in the line when sucking fuel to the pump. Decent pressure, we are running at 38psi idle and 43psi WOT, no hiccups at all. Sound leaves a little to be desired, but with the engine running it's barely noticeable. Time will tell with reliability. Overall a great little pump! ... show more

  • Buy something else!
Size: External Fuel Pump - 300LPH
The media could not be loaded. I bought two of these in late 2022 for my and my son's cars. Both LS swap builds, finally got around to installing one last month. Originally started and ran fine, then after a week it wouldn't keep fuel pressure. Swapped it out to the other new one and it ran the first time, then the next day it wouldn't stay running! Checked the fuel pressure again and another junk pump! Btw the car isn't even close to being drivable yet and hasn't even left the garage! I shouldn't have tried saving money by buying a cheap fuel pump, let alone two of them! And of course since both cars are huge build projects I bought the junk pumps too long ago to warranty them let alone return them because they have proven they will be nothing but junk! Learn from my mistake and spend money on a good pump one time instead of 4 times!!! ... show more

  • Fantastic fuel pump
Size: External Fuel Pump - 300LPH
This replaced an aftermarket loud fuel pump. This is very quiet and maintains constant fuel pressure for the injectors. I should have bought this months ago when I changed all my fuel lines and fittings to Evil energy products.

  • LOUD! LOUD! LOUD!
Size: External Fuel Pump - 300LPH
My gosh this pump is LOUD. I have it wrapped in a neoprene sleeve, in the back of the vehicle near the tank. A layer of Kilmat sound insulation on the floor of the vehicle, and a layer of carpet, and it is still extremely annoyingly loud inside the vehicle. I can stand in front of the vehicle when idling, and the sound of the pump is LOUDER than the engine itself (and this isn't a really quiet engine - a 1.6 16v out of a Sidekick I rebuilt). I cannot wait to get rid of this, but holding off to replace the entire tank with an oversized tank with an internal pump. ... show more
