I bought this and put it on my, 1999 Tacoma Prerunner 3.4l v6. The original muffler blew out at 178k miles. It was a cheap fix an overall I am happy with it!. The Muffler shop quoted me $400-500 with me supplying the parts… I did it my self it took about 4 hours in the driveway because I am not a mechanic. I bought exhaust wrap and wrapped where the Clamps connected between the junctions… The truck is a bit louder, but not obnoxious once it warms up… I have all of $150 or less in it … Clamps, Wrap, Hangers, and Pipe extensions … It is a resonator and not a muffler… You can hear a bit of “Air Push” through it hitting the accelerator in the driveway… But not on the road… I am very Happy with it! ... show more

Review Image by They worked just fine welds were fine not great itll do the lock woshers they sent with the bolts are trash you may want to buy difrent bolts becouse I could see these stripping out easily in the future if they needed to be taken off for some reason it also came with gaskets
I bought the 2” on and I think this is 1 1/2 so be aware of that when you buy it otherwise they do what’s advertised

Firstly you should know this is not a slip fit joint muffler, the pipe it attaches to must be enlarged if you want to use as a slip fit. Second, it is THIN! extra care must be taken when welding. It performs good, is finished nicely. It really changes the tone. I installed mine on a dune buggy/ rail on its existing bobcat exhaust and it changed it drastically, you can actually talk to the person beside you. ... show more
