It looks exactly as pictured. Because of the fluting of the front panel, it is difficult to tell that it is not real wood. Assembly is of moderate difficulty. Not for first timers but straightforward. Extra hardware is included. Wedges in the back give extra stability. Led flames are attractive and fun colors. Heat function takes the chill out of the air on a cool night but not intended to replace central heating. Good value for the price.
