I purchased this box to sit outside with paper products inside. So far, after 4 wks in a damp wet environment, my paper contents are dry. The box came with 2 plastic keys to help turn the lock, but I can turn the lock with my fingers. It looks like the lock is only for keeping the seal secure, not keeping someone out. It's a high quality waterproof lockbox. The pictures don't give a true sense of the size (it looks larger in the pics imo) so make sure the interior dimensions are the size you need. The rubber webbing inner lid loft adds a good extra storage for extras. Great product
