To start off, I'm not very kind to my garden tools and tend to break them rather often... this thing wasn't spared much either lol. Good news is it's not broken, and it still works as it should. Bad news is, I may have bent the teeth a little trying to extract something I probably shouldn't have... <trying to weed a "small" privet shrub might be asking a little much. Pros: -Two tools in one. One is better for pulling up smaller and easier to remove grasses and weeds while tilling the soil, the other is able to cut into tougher ground and remove hardier things before planting. -Easy to put together and adjustable height. -Durable when used on the right things. <It should last a good while so long as you don't use it stuff it shouldn't be used on. Cons: -Only thing I noticed that might be of some concern is the welding on the tiller attachment is a bit rough. It's not so much of an issue and it didn't break after what I put it through, so they are fine; but they aren't the cleanest welds out there. -Another note is that this thing would benefit better from a pin rather than bolts and screws. It's a bit of a pain to switch between the two. You can likely fix that yourself if you have the right-sized locking pin lying around. ... show more

This tool is so handy. I'm making new flower beds in my yard and preparing to plant bulbs, so it's actually perfect! Whether you need to till small areas or dig the easiest plant holes of your life, this will do the job. The length is adjustable, so it's easy to assemble it to a length that is most comfortable for you. My only qualm is that you have to use an allen wrench every time you want to adjust it. The same goes for switching out the tiller/planter heads. I wish there was an easier way to interchange them without having to get additional tools out every time. A great addition to my gardening arsenal. Both tool heads serve a unique purpose and they perform those tasks well; however, it's not easy to change out the heads. They're bolted onto the handle; you must unbolt one to attach and bolt the other... and they provided lock-nuts, so removing them isn't quick. I recently recieved the Evcitn Adjustable Bulb Planter Tool and Manual Twist Tiller with high hopes for its multi-functionality. However, I've encountered significant issues with its assembly, warranting a 3-star rating. Pros: Versatile Functions: The tool promises a wide range of garden tasks, which is appealing for avid gardeners. Cons: Handle Attachment: A major stumbling block is the handle attachment. It is evident that there's a manufacturing flaw as the back of the post connecting to the handle is excessively long. To make it fit, I'll need to grind down a part of the post, which is an inconvenient and unexpected task. Hardware Alignment: Aligning the holes with the provided hardware is another frustrating challenge. This complicated assembly process further exacerbates my experience with the tool. Bulb Planter and Twist Tiller Transition: The transition between the bulb planter and twist tiller is not user-friendly. It's more cumbersome than anticipated, making it a hassle to switch between functions. Regrettably, these assembly issues have prevented me from using the tool effectively, despite its promising range of functions. Works great! Has some weight to it and cuts easily into the sandy soil in South Florida. My only issue is with the multi-piece handle... It just seems senseless, for anything other than packing and shipping purposes, to make the handle more than one piece. Taking it apart to store it doesn't make much sense. Also, the nuts and bolts that came with it with are not Stainless-Steel, they will eventually rust and become another hassle to contend with at some later point if I don't swap them out now. I dropped two stars for the multi-piece handle and lack of Stainless-Steel hardware. ... show more

These tools helped me to make quick work of some late season planting I needed to do before the cold weather set in! They were super easy to put together, took less than 5 minutes, and the bulb planter is interchangeable with the twist tiller. It took maybe 5 minutes more to get a few new plants solidly in the ground without much effort at all. The tools were also super easy to clean off, I look forward to getting more use out of them come Spring. All in all a great buy! ... show more

I like that this feels super strong. I had to move my mulch out of the way before it wanted to drill into my dirt; the teeth were getting clogged with the bark pieces. But after I moved the mulch, drilling a core out as if I were planting a bulb was easy. I thought I’d be able to spit the core out of the bottom, but instead you lift the little lever up and then the dirt overflows out of the top. Which is fine; the dirt will be nice and loose over whatever I just planted. It’s a little bit of a pain that the two different heads actually bolt on, instead of quick release and change, but… they’re really on when they’re on, so I think this was a smart decision on by the design team. I see myself using this a lot in my future! Bulb planting in the fall and using the soil loosener in next years garden for both weeding and planting. The T-handle gives you a lot of power for not much work. It feels very manageable in terms of size and weight, too. I’m a five foot tall woman and garden tools are sometimes ridiculously heavy or not ergonomic for me. This is a good one! ... show more
