Extremely tight fit for the drill but it will work

The material feels like it's neoprene, and there's just enough friction that it holds remarkably well. As seen in my pics, there's a few gaps, but compared to the OEM case shown next to this insert in a pack out case, you can see that this is a HUGE improvement over the sad fabric and velcro straps. The area designed to hold 2 extra batteries is nice, but in my experience, I only need one extra battery, as the spent battery can be popped on the charger and it's ready to go before the other battery needs to be charged. I wish one of the extra battery spots on this insert was used to hold more bits, as the drill cutout allows a battery to be in the drill while it's stored. 3 batteries is overkill, IMO, but this is still a great addition for me, and I would recommend this to anyone who's picked up the installation drill that this insert is designed for.

I have a lot of Packout boxes and this one fits a specific need. I have tried buying the foam and making my own inserts. They never fit correctly, and the look was not very good. Then I decided to print my own 3D inserts. That worked well for simple designs like screwdrivers and sockets but not for battery-operated tools. I investigated buying 3D printed tool inserts, but they are expensive… then I found this. This insert is made from EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate) and specifically designed for the Milwaukee M12 driver with the “4 in 1 tool attachments” and machined to fit the standard Packout box. EVA is not light spongy foam like you can buy to make your own inserts. It is a very dense foam and is machined for the tools and accessories to fit very snugly. When you first open the box, you will think the insert will not fit inside the box, but it does. To get it properly into the box you must put the top front edge (the end with the battery holes) toward the latch. The tricky part is that you must push the top edge of this insert under the front lip on the inside edge of the box. Then pull the insert until it is against the front edge of the box and then push the back edge of the insert down to get it firmly into the Packout. Look at the picture on the instruction sheet or look at the picture of my setup to see the properly installed insert. PROS: Dense foam makes for a very snug and I believe a long-lasting insert. The tool can be put into the insert with the battery installed. None of my other inserts allow this. With 2 slots for extra batteries and 1 installed in the tool, you have 3 batteries available. There are storage slots for ¼” bits of your choosing. Everything fits quite snugly in the insert. Driver, bits, batteries and attachments will not move around as you move the Packout box from site to site. At this point it appears that this is the only Packout insert made by the company. If they decide to make Packout inserts for other tools, I will be a buyer.

Perfect fit for my Milwaukee impact driver and accessories. It holds everything that comes with this Milwaukee tool with no problem. I decided to use my inside my home tool box and not a Milwaukee pack out, but the fit was sit very nice. The foam feel likes it decent quality and the cuts are perfect. Just snug enough to hold them in place without falling out. I’m sure this will last a long time being used inside my home tool box. 5 out of 5 stars for me

I love my M12 installation driver (it's my go-to drill) but I don't love the attachments bouncing around the bottom of my tool bag and searching for the right one. This keeps them securely organized, along with a selection of bits and space for two extra batteries. I do wish there was a spot for a bit holder, but I'll just cut one myself. The drill and accessories for very snugly in the liner, which itself fits snugly in a Packout compact organizer.
