It's important to wait 24hrs before plugging it in so that the antifreeze can settle. It runs quiet. Doesn't matter to me if it didn't. I didn't purchase it for sound. So far it has done a great job of keeping things cool. I love it! Functioning properly so far. I just got this about two weeks ago. I haven't seen or heard anything leaking. Good mini fridge, mine came with a scrape on the one side. It doesn’t bother me as I have it in a cabinet so I don’t see it. Otherwise would recommend to anyone thinking about it. Good capacity. Stays cool and is very quiet.

First, it is amazingly quiet -- I'm sitting about 10' away and can't hear it running. Second, it actually has room for pinot noir bottles - not just on one shelf or in a stack, but on each shelf -- so it really has the capacity it advertises, which you may know is very rare in wine fridges. Great wine cooler. Just received, plugged it in and the temp is already at 40 degrees where I set it. I love the blue light. I will use for holding wine and hanging coppa to dry for 3 months. Great produce so far!! Would highly recommend if you're looking for a great looking wine cooler!!

This fridge does not work at all!! Cannot get the right temperature, can’t even set it to the right temperature. The thing leaks and this is really just badly made. Stay away from this company, this is a joke of a product. How do you sell an imitation fridge???
