Pros : good fingerprint scanning , easy to install, have many ways of unlocking including keys, fingerprint, app, and password. They have great security by using the scrambler feature . The button on the inside handle is very useful and a great feature. Something that many others smart locks don’t have . Cons: battery may drain with heavy usage of frequently used door . (I use this with my mancave door so i only lock it when I’m out the house or want to be private inside and not bothered.) When closing door from the outside the lights of the password are easily triggered and make sound . This doesn’t bother me but can be a con for some people. Overall: The design of this doorknob and the reputable brand made me go for this smart lock for my mancave door. I come from the smart locks of utec but they are much bulkier and this one I recommend for indoors as this is less bulkier. What made me buy this also is that this particular lock has a button from the inside that you can press to lock or press and hold to unlock and activate passage mode (unlock mode) . I love this feature and it will need to be activated in the app. ... show more

After a day of use, so far it's been a great smart lock. I had a generic named lock from Lowes that was not working out well so I swapped it with this one and it's much better. Eufy products have always been solid and this one follows that. Only issue I had was that it would disconnect from the network not long after connecting it to the app. This caused me to factory reset it dozens of times thinking it had to do something with my smart home VLAN. To fix this, I updated the firmware of the lock immediately after connecting it to the app. This fixed all of the issues I was initially having with it. The door handle itself work wonderfully. Easy to install and set up. Everything I wanted. Had to drop a star for the door late and strike. Everything else is black and it came with silver. The eufy C32 Smart Lock is very easy to install! I am using this lock for a closet in my vacation rental. I have other products by eufy and this brand never disappoints. You need to app to control remotely. I like that it comes with two keys in case the battery dies. This lock can be mounted with the handle facing left or right. I only wish they came in other finishes. They only sell black from what I’ve seen online. ... show more

Superb interior door smart lock that was easy to install as well as connect to my preffered smart home eco system - "Google Home". This smart lock was a excellent solution to replace the standard lock on my studio apartment's closet door. I purchased this lock to give myself a additional layer of protection to secure my valuables especially when having company over. I love the fact that the lock automatically locks when you close the door and opens seamlessly with my fingerprint. Eufy is one of the few smart home developers who sell a smart lock for the interior doors within your home and I have to say they really delivered a winner here. The easy install and Google Home integration made me very impressed considering I only spent $60 for it. I highly recommend this lock for your interior doors of your apartment or home. ... show more

Not sure if I just got a defective unit but this lock is terrible. Like multiple fingerprint attempts lock you out of the house awful and customer service only responds with a “well be sure to clean it”. We are more concerned we can’t even enter the door! We added a code and the code never even worked to open it either. Wish I could return for a full refund given how awful this thing is. ... show more

There’s a lot to like , the overall design , all setup, fingerprint and pin access are all great . The door look looks sleek and matches well to black or dark bronze hardware in the home. App setup was reliable and easy. And app features like auto lock, remote open, code and fingerprint management are well done. I would call this a v 1.0 or prototype because a lot of moderate and small issues that don’t meet the expectations of a latch used 20-50 times a day. On install, The latch plate and crash plate are large and require extra recess boring . The screws and hardware wear during install . The latch is 1/8 in too long and 1/4 too narrow for a common 1 in latch bore . Most latch installs include sleeves for various door sizes . So the finished install on close inspection looks a bit sloppy. The inclusion of sleeves and shims which come with basic locks would have solved this issue. Daily operations reveal some annoyances that build up when encountered 20 times or more. The fingerprint is good, but not on par with a quality phone or laptop, so the miss rate is about 20 % . That’s a few misses a day when your arms are full. And every op triggers an annoying beep . I recommend a haptic feedback in the future . In summary it’s an amazing feature set and a solid device , just be aware it’s the first edition and not quite as polished as you may want for a door lock used often and for the long haul. ... show more
