Our freezer door would pop slightly open sometimes when we shut the refrigerator door. Obviously we didn’t always catch it so we had issues with temperature control in the freezer. I installed this and it works well and is definitely worth the money. It’s not difficult to operate with one hand so it’s not inconvenient. I would definitely recommend this product. It was very easy to install. We haven’t had any issues with it coming loose and we use it several times a day. It’s very sturdy.

Super easy to install and easy to use. I did have to shift my fridge over because you need room to get your hand around the latch. Make sure to have about a 4 inch clearance so it can fit appropriately. Has withstood me yanking on the door because I haven’t gotten used to the latch, so the adhesive strength is excellent! I purchased this because our freezer door wasn’t sealing properly and would randomly open. Even thought I don’t plan on using it, I like the feature that you can disable the lock if need be. Good price!

Nothing more frustrating than coming home from vacation only to find that the last person who "shut" the upright freezer door did not make sure the door was actually shut all the way. And everything inside is no longer frozen. These might be advertised as "Child Proof" locks but we have them on all of our upright appliances in our garage to make sure the doors stay shut. They work great. As long as the door and housing are flush they stay firm and clock every time. We have one on a refrigerator door that has been there for several years. Only challenge is if the mount is not completely flush on both sides (door and side of appliance), then eventually the latch side will pull free. But still clings for about 12 months.

This thing is great! Easy to open but NEVER by itself. Latch works better than expected, and it's adjustable, so I didn't need to put them so close together after all. Lol
