My skin is sensitive, combo and acne prone. My skin is oily in the t-zone at certain times of the month but also dry and prone to dehydration so it’s been difficult to find a face wash that cleans my face thoroughly but doesn’t strip my skin. “Hydrating” and “milky” cleansers don’t thoroughly cleanse my skin and leave me prone to clogged pores, but a lot of other face washes are too stripping and leave me feeling dry and tight. I use this facewash after removing sunscreen and makeup with Bioderma micellar water and my skin is a million times happier since I’ve found this facewash. I’ve repurchased 3x now and I’ve stopped looking for facewashes so I think it’s safe to say this is my HG.

My friend with eczema recommended this product so i tried it out. This is my 2nd bottle. Within a few weeks of using it i had some noticeable differences on my face with my grease and black head issues. Its not too harsh on my face, doesnt dry it out, but the grease stays away for days at a time. Using this with a toner does dry out my face, so i use a toner every *other* wash to even it out. I love this. SO MUCH. It has an amazing price for an amazing and quality product

wow! I bought this as a replacement for the sadly discontinued simple brand foaming facial cleanser, a product I affectionately called a “bare bones not special cleanser” - basic, straightforward, no actives but importantly not irritating. I’ve always had more oily, congested skin and was put on tret by my derm for significant cystic acne (the nasty, painful, takes four weeks to come up kind). while the tret has done great things for my acne (in combo with the cerave nightly exfoliating treatment on the no tret nights), my skin has suddenly turned dry, flaky, and angry in a way I’ve never had to deal with before. I was kind of at a loss on how to help with it and did try the non foaming bottle cleanser in this same line but found it unremarkable. this cleanser sat sadly ignored and unused until I finally ran out of the simple cleanser and reached for this one. wow! what a quietly miraculous product. completely non irritating and I swear my skin is calmer after I wash with it. I used to use a salicylic acid cleanser in the evening but now I use this morning and night and honestly my acne is better without the salicylic acid cleanser! no obvious scent (I know the other cleanser in the soon jung line had people irked with the scent, I thought that one was just kinda generic softsoap clean scent) and the 150 mL bottle actually contains a lot of uses. I mean I use three pumps every time I wash (AM/PM) and even with three weeks of use I don’t think I’ve emptied it much. all in all, a wonderful product. will it clear your acne all by itself? no, because that’s not what it’s designed for. what it will do is support and soothe your skin as it recovers from the application of your acne med of choice. calmer skin heals faster, leaving less nasty scars and less redness. once I run out (which won’t be for a while!), I’ll definitely be buying this again :)
